The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant is a stunning restaurant and bar, overlooking the shores of Lake Windermere, providing a picturesque environment for dining. Serving fresh, original, everyday eating on the shores of Lake Windermere, the menu includes traditional British favorite's. Enjoy a coffee, light lunch or something a little more substantial as you unwind with a drink overlooking the boats on Windermere Marina. Why not join us for simply great fresh food and fine wine in a contemporary, relaxed and informal setting.

The restaurant is open Friday - Monday from 9am serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Tuesday - Thursday from 11am serving lunch and dinner.

**PARKING AVAILIABLE FOR ALL CUSTOMERS OF THE BOATHOUSE** - Marina car park available for all Boathouse customers (Please call for a code we will need your car registration please have it to hand)

Experience an exquisite set menu created by our amazing team, designed to tantalize your taste buds, made with the finest seasonal ingredients artfully prepared why not indulge in a festive atmosphere across both our floors with live DJ downstairs and great background pipe music in our upstairs restaurant. We are offering a limited number of tickets. In order to confirm your booking, we will require prepayment and a pre order for your meal. Your booking is not secure without these. All our food is made to order and slight changes can be made to assist with any allergies or intolerances. A very lively venue and fantastic staff. We just didn’t think the amount of food and quality of food was with £120 each for Christmas.

We had really nice Christmas lunch. Food was great, as were the staff. Also a good atmosphere, with music and everyone smiling and enjoying themselves. Hadn't been before, so will be good to go back when it's warmer and have a look around the marina at the same time.

Looks great on the menu but massively did not deliver. Starters were ok but belly pork bits were 90% fat. Bacon chop main was just so salty it tasted like it hadn't been rinsed and overpowered everything. Mussels main was gritty and still had beards attached to some. Sauce was so watery it didn't taste of anything and chips were just full of salt again. Did complain and were not charged for the mussels. Promises alot but doesn't deliver.

Amazing food, drinks, and incredibly friendly waiters and bar staff always being polite and welcoming. We had a lovely meal and would definitely go back

Staff nice and friendly a great asset to the business, lights where very bright and ambient table lights didn’t work at all which creates a nicer experience/ atmosphere Food was lovely and well cooked

The restaurant was very busy and it took a while to be given the menus and for our initial drinks order to be taken. We did receive an apology for this and from then on the service was excellent and the food came quickly after this. Our main meals and desserts were beautifully presented and were extremely nice. We were residents of the Marina Village so we had the pleasant bonus of a 10% reduction to our bill. I would like to visit again.
