Disappointed in decor or the restaurant, or should I say breakfast area of the hotel.

This was our second time it will definitely be our last what a way to destroy New Year’s Eve never again

Very disappointing. Prices were incredibly high and out of sync with the quality of the food. An 8 oz glass of average wine was $32. The short ribs were very fatty and the chicken pesto ravioli was tasty, but swimming in cream sauce when a dab would have really let the homemade ravioli taste shine through. The waitress was frazzled and distracted and told us, “We are not used to being busy.” Probably not a bad spot for breakfast or lunch when you are staying at the Loom Hotel (which is very nice), but with 40 restaurants within 10 miles I would skip this one for dinner.

Today, I celebrated my moms birthday, and her chair was decorated with balloons by her Waitress Shaneka. Shaneka was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was great and came shortly after ordering. At the end of the meal, I was given a very nicely decorated dessert for my moms birthday that was brought to her by Shaneka and very cheerful staff that sang the Happy birthday to my mom. The Brook Kitchen and Bar did not disappoint and would highly recommend it.

Our first time at this restaurant, the food was very good. The menu is very interesting. The wine offerings were excellent and I couldn’t say enough good things about our waitress, Gina, she was was so helpful, attentive and delightful. It was a great night out!
