Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Love the idea of having Capital Grill in town! However, our waiter was an amateur and seemed unhappy about being there. Our steaks weren’t dialed in. We ordered rare steaks and they came out, medium and dry. At $70+ a steak they should be cooked to perfection. AND the servers should be well trained. Ours was not. The first time we went, when they first opened, we had a waiter named Kyle and he was super professional, and our meal was great! I don’t know what has happened since the opening, but we were not impressed. Won’t rush back!!

    We went for the Wagu and wine special and the burgers were delicious and the Duckhorn wines were superb. The service was not up to par due to our server having to handle the entire bar area on a busy time of day.

    Our dinner was amazing! Alexandra S. was our server and she was awesome. There was never a time that we were waiting for anything. The food was phenomenal. We had a night away from the little ones and she made it special for us. We will be back!

    2nd time at Newtown - filet tough and no shoestring fries - not good. Shoestring fries are classic capital grille trademark. Chef informs they no longer offer. Ruined my entire meal with fat dirty potato fries. Soggy. Greasy. Luke warm. I literally want to burn my tongue on a hot crispy fry. No point in going back. My cheat meal has to be the bomb. At least Kyle our waiter was interesting to chat with and had good restaurant training.

    The Capital Grille is one of our favorite restaurants so when we found out that one was opening so close to our home, we were really excited! The new Newtown location is beautiful, especially the bar area. Food and the service was exceptional as usual. Will be back sooner than later to dine again!

    My wife and I did the Wagyu and Wine experience and ate in the bar area. This is a very good value just based on the Duckhorn Cabernet that is included. Service was excellent from beginning to end which certainly added to what was a very good experience. The only negative was that the burger was surprisingly average. Mine was slightly overdone and a little dry. Perhaps my expectations were pretty high based on our previous visits to Capital Grille where the quality of the food was always the highlight. Overall this was a nice evening and would have been 5 stars if the burger was a little better.

    Always and fun, comfortable and classy time. Fantastic server. Food met all expectations. Tuna tartare is just amazing.
