Welcome to the Chateau Restaurant of Norton, 48 Bay Road, located off of Route 495, Exit 9 to Bay Road, where you may enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Winnecunnet while you dine. Since 1933, The Nocera Family has been serving great food, with great service at reasonable prices that keep our customers coming back for more.
Offering classic Italian dishes such as Toasted Ravioli, Chicken Parmigiana and Thin-crust Pizza, as well as Fresh Seafood and Sautee Dishes. Weekly Specials are always on the menu.
Chateau Norton has many newly renovated dining rooms to provide a warm atmosphere and accommodate any reservation. Large parties are our specialty! Enjoy our separate Dining Lounge that features a comfortable bar, lots of dining tables, affordable wine list and featured drink specials. A perfect place to watch the game on one of the many HDTV's and play Keno.

My husband's food was not hot and the baked Hadock St Germaine sauce was very soupy. Also they placed the small bowl with the mashed potatoes on top of the butternut squash. Personally not happy having the bottom of a bowl that was on a counter or something placed in my squash.

The Early Bird Special was wonderful, as usual - delicious food and generous portions for a very reasonable price.. Service was disappointing, however, as we arrived at 4:45 when the restaurant main dining room was pretty empty, we were promptly seated, but then had no one come over to our table when other parties coming in after us were being seated and having their orders taken. Eventually someone came to our table to let us know our Server was finishing up a large party in another room and he was not our Server but would get us started. As it turned out, he remained our Server and was very pleasant and wanted to be helpful, but seemed a bit inexperienced because there was no time allowed for us to finish one course before the next was delivered and left on our table.. He also forgot or didn’t have time to remove dishes as we did finish courses, and disappeared for long periods (we surmise helping whoever our “other” server would have been in the other room) and we had to sit there and eventually ask others to track him down for things we needed. Though he really tried his best, was very nice and tried to help, what we really don’t understand is why the restaurant would seat us at a table with no Server available to begin with which turned a wonderful meal into an annoying experience for no reason.

The service is great. It can be a bit noisy, and the tables are packed very close together so you might have someone else's chair pressed right up to yours making it hard to get up without bumping them. The food was good, my plate was great but my boyfriend's plate was a little lacking. The stuffed shrimp aren't what you expect. I normally love fried ravioli but tonight's round of it was rather dry and didn't tasted as seasoned as it should have been. Now with that said, it may have been because they had a big party to tend to as well and it was a holiday. We've eaten there before and the food was really good that time. Also, the app gave me an option to pick the table style. I picked a hightop and several were available when we got there, but they sat us at the regular table. Not a big deal, but why give the option of choice if you don't actually get it? The price is a bit up there for some things, but it's not terrible as most dishes are of a good enough portion. Over all it was still a very pleasant experience. Our server was really nice and very attentive even with the event going on.

I was disappointed with my meal. We used to go to The Chateau frequently but haven’t been since the pandemic. The prices have gone up significantly and I didn’t enjoy my meal. We were seated in the back room overlooking the pond. It was freezing cold.
We had to move our table. Our service was good.

We made an impromptu visit on an off night for the Early Bird and everything we ordered was excellent. My wife was very happy with her Baked Stuffed Shrimp, Salad with Poppy seed/vidalia dressing, butternut squash and broccoli, and I was very pleased with the Chicken Parm and Minestrone Soup. The only disappointment was we were told they had had “delivery issues” with the ingredients for the included Tapioca Pudding so it was not available. Cannoli and Choc Pudding were good, but not our favorites. We have had the Early Bird special before and it continues to be a wonderful value and very much appreciated in a world of ridiculous dining prices!

We ordered mussels and they were served to us wrapped in tin foil, I’ve never seen such a thing. We returned them, they didn’t taste good and was a weird consistency. All our drinks took forever. There were like 10 servers and only 2 bartenders and the bar was very busy. The bartenders were running like crazy the bar was a mess, but plenty of servers and hosts just standing around. It was strange, cross train more people and help each other out.
Leah was our server she was very nice but could only control so much.
We sat near the windows it was very drafty, we had to switch tables. All the servers were not surprised that we complained of drafts. The resturant was not full, why not just seat people where it’s warm? Strange. Won’t go back.
