Welcome to The Chop House® restaurants, where we strive to provide each guest with friendly service in an inviting environment. Our service and our food is guaranteed!

Established in 1992 by Mike Connor with the help of family and friends, The Chop House® has become one of the premier casual restaurant concepts in the Southeast, with 12 locations spread across 4 states.

Our number one goal is to provide a superior dining experience to every guest. We do this by providing guest-obsessed service and generous portions of delicious food using the freshest ingredients.

    I was glad to see that the noisy kitchen air handling system has been repaired and is no longer obnoxiously loud. The food was great and the service (Brandon) was superb.

    The staff was attentive. The music was at the perfect level and my wife said it was her “vibe”. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was excellent. But we went there for steak and that is where the review takes a turn. We ordered two different steaks; both of us ordered them to be cooked to medium. My wife’s steak was more medium rare and mine was nearly well done. Frankly, I have had significantly better steak at similar prices at many other restaurants. So despite the wonderful first impressions, we won’t be back.

    It was a very pleasant change compared to every other eating establishment that focused on “southern fare”. Portions are big enough to share.

    All aspects of our dining experience was great except for 1) forgot to send us our ceaser salad (removed from bill), 2) had to remind waitress to bring our bread, 3) overcooked steak, had to wait for another steak properly cooked. We were although offered a dessert to take home with us. I would definitely return though as the overall experience was certainly nice.

    The only suggestion I would offer has to do with the level of the sinks in the Men’s Room. They are just right if this was a Cracker Barrel or Chuck E. Cheese Restaurants where the patrons were mostly children. However The Chop House caters primarily to Adults, so the sinks should be able to accommodate ADULTS!! Please raise them up at least 8-12” Thank you for your consideration!

    more than 20 minutes after our reservation time, waited another 15-20 to be greeted by our server. When taking our order the server did not write anything down so multiple things were incorrect. My steak was cold and had obviously been sitting in the kitchen for awhile before it was brought to me. We go to the Chop House about once a month but they really missed the mark last night.
