I'll start with the good - sat us right away albeit we had an early (5pm) reservation, friendly wait staff - engaging but didn't linger too long, food came out quickly, and gorgeous views. Atmosphere was fairly low key for a cold Saturday following the holidays but steadily increased as the evening progressed. Food was average at best - we got the small cold seafood tower to start cesar salad, blackened scallops, and steamer clams. Tower was ok - shrimp, crab, and lobster all great, oysters were small but tasty, and calms were ok. There were also shelled muscles that were marinaded and served in a sauce dish which looked unappealing but tasted ok. Cesar salad was warm with mostly romaine lettuce and a forgettable dressing - less than appetizing. Scallops were blackened but not seared so tasted more salty than well seasoned. Steamer clams were solid with a broth my wife really enjoyed. They also brought us a cookie and ice cream dessert because it was the wife's birthday - no charge which was nice. The cookie was rock hard - tasted overcooked and reheated so I wouldn't order it going forward.
Overall, if you're looking for a solid atmosphere, friendly staff, and great views - this is a great choice! If you're more about the dining experience, you'll probably want to look to other spots in the area that have better food.
