We LOVE Choptank…. They have some of the best food around. The staff is always fabulous. Yes it can get pricey but it’s worth it.

The food was delicious, the ambiance was serene and beautiful, the waitress was very knowledgeable and nice, and the food was delicious (yes, I said it again..LOL)

March 2025, Choptank has a beautiful view of downtown Annapolis and its harbor. Plus, weekend dining shows how Marylanders love to coexist together. Now let's talk about the restaurant. I'm rating the food, the service, and the atmosphere 5 stars. However, I reserved two bar seats and was told when I arrived that they are first come, first serve seating (instead they gave us a table on the second floor overlooking the harbor, Thanks), and the second complaint was the creme brulee which didn't have a vanilla and caramel taste. Instead, it was more of a lemony flavor. Still, I enjoyed my two hours there before my parking meter expired. I highly recommend Choptank to my fellow restaurant adventurers and, if possible, utilize the second floor bar. (Best so far, 2025)

Lovely for lunch. The seafood tower was fresh and delicious. The crab cake platter was also yummy and fresh. The views of town and the water are great from the upstairs seating area and outdoor deck.

Food was delicious , we ordered the steam clams and the crab dip , shrimp cocktail, calamari and the spicy chicken sandwich (very spicy but good flavor) everything was good..

Our waiter was really great, but it did take quite a bit to be greeted at our table. The sweet hostess was one of the best people I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. I felt she went above and beyond her job. The crabcake was delicious and I highly recommend it

Great local place for amazing food. Didn’t appreciate being asked to move tables halfway through our dinner. I said no and didn’t move. What a buzzkill to a great night celebrating my mom who is 88. They should know better.

Service: The server missed many things throughout the service time. The requested sugar and lemon was not given when the tea was served. No lid on the hot water so the water wasn’t / didn’t stay hot. Server forgot my guest’s drinks, Didn’t give me the correct sauce for the fish I ordered. Forgot to give my guest a different salad dressing as the champagne vinaigrette was extremely oily. Food: the fried oysters were excellent. The 2 entrees Diver Scallops ordered by my guests, were very good but smaller than expected and the sear was missing on a few of them The family style string beans were excellent The Brussel sprouts were extremely oily. Didn’t opt to take them home. So food was largely very good with the exception of the sprouts. But service killed the experience we anticipated for the evening.
