Built in 1899 and located in the center of town is the Clinkscale building. The lower level houses our Lobby Bar and Restaurant serving Craft Cocktails and Modern American Cuisine. Open for service without reservation for breakfast, brunch, & lunch, with reservations recommended for dinner. Upstairs you will find our boutique hotel with 6 Exquisite Guest Rooms and a Penthouse each with luxury amenities individually decorated which just add to this building’s already Historic charm.     Took my wife here for our Valentine Day dinner. This was our sixth or seventh dinner at The Clinkscale. We live in the area and this is our favorite restaurant to dine at. We both had the filet mignon, but substituted the loaded mashed potatoes instead of french fries. Had our usual of beignets for dessert. Ss always, food was just out of this world! I can’t tell you how good the steaks are here. They only offer two- the filet, and a rib-eye. I have had both several times, and every time they have been perfect! It was a bit noisier than usual on this visit, as it was Valentine’s Day and the place was packed, but that is understandable. Unfortunately, when a place offers food of this quality, it is hard to keep it a secret and everyone else chooses to come here. Good for the restaurant and staff, but not so great for us. We now have to share this fabulous place! We live here and have a chance to come often, but if you are just visiting and are looking for a great restaurant, give The Clinkscale a try. You will not be disappointed!

    We greatly appreciate Clinkscale's friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Mike is a wonderful host and manager, and Thadias tended to our table professionally and warmly. We enjoy dining here personally and bring our friends and family whenever possible. If in Jerome, one should dine at Clinkscales.

    Happy New Year!!! We went to the Clinkscale on New Year's Eve, and it was fabulous. Like being in my own local establishment The service was excellent, and the food was very good. I know lots of people say its the best in Arizona, well that could be a little over the top. But none the less you should go, becasue it was quite good. The ribeye was excellent, it needed more seasoning but was well-cooked. The salmon was perfect and really good, considering this is the desert. Nothing to criticize, really, at all. Found a new Pinot Grigio that could make you forget Santa Margarita (LaCuccacina). Desert was fair as the flourless chocolate cake was dry (probably old), but it didn't take away too much from the experience. This is a truly local bar/restaurant with excellent food and service, Jerome is not too far from Cottonwood and just a little farther from Sedona. This gets our full recommendation and we will most definitely be back!!! Please try it.

    Two of four meals had under cooked steaks. Andrew and manager did a wonderful job attending to the situation best they could.

    Joe, apologies for the steaks being initially undercooked. I hope we were able to rectify the situation by bringing them up to the temperature that you desired. We feel that with the money you spend here, we need to be as close to perfect as possible.
