    We have been many times to the clubhouse and have always been very pleased with the service and food. Last night was no exception. The Italian night was great. Service was a little slow but it was busy. My choice of the venison lasagna was rather dry but everyone in our group was happy with their choice. The starters and desserts were amazing. We discussed other wine options with the waiter and we opted for a less expensive one than was recommended on the Italian menu. We felt that over £40 a bottle was rather expensive but we had a lovely one for £27. As we were a party of 6 we had a lovely private area in restaurant. Overall very enjoyable experience.

    Excellent food and service as always. However, as more diners arrived the noise level became uncomfortable and we could hardly hear each other speak.

    The meat for Sunday lunch was poor. In particular there was hardly any meat on the pork belly. Which my wife didn’t touch. I wanted to complain but persuaded not to do so. Beef was average in taste and texture .

    Lovely food, location and very good service. Staff were very accommodating and food arrived quickly and or a very good standard. Would definitely visit again.

    Family lunch. Lovely restaurant, warm welcome and friendly, efficient staff. Stunning location. Excellent food. One extra mile element was them preparing a main meal as a starter to share beautifully presented on separate plates without us asking. Inside restaurant warm, cosy and clean. Toilets spotless. Really worth a visit. Will definitely return with family and friends. Well done Clubhouse team.

    The ambience at The Club House is great. The food was exceptional, and good value. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys dining out. Ideal location with plenty of parking. The staff are very attentive without being overpowering. I would personally recommend the mussels as a starter.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Clubhouse. Always good value for money, fantastic selection of wines, so make sure you have someone nominated to drive! Nice friendly staff and despite a cloudy outlook on Thursday, still an enjoyable experience. Thank you

    Another excellent meal here for Sunday lunch. 2 courses for £20 is exceptional value with wine vouchers provided too! 3rd time we have eaten here, and as always staff very attentive, courteous and friendly. Service was very efficient. There were 6 of us, starters of mackerel pate & tomatoes were delicious. We all had the roast, either beef or pork, which again was yummy and plentiful with huge Yorkshire puddings. All hot & on hot plates. Mocktails were great, couldn't tell they were non alcoholic . No room for desserts. Certainly recommend & worth the distance. We look forward to our next visit.

    Having been to The Clubhouse on many occasions it was a real disappointment that the service was very poor today! Had to ask three members of staff for the bottle of wine we had ordered over 20 minutes prior, ordered coffees at the end of the meal which were never made! Our first drink was taken off the bill! We had raved about the place to friends which were with us today, needless to say it has put us and them off returning! The food was very good as always!
