The Copper Clam is a seafood, shellfish & steak restaurant located on Brighton beach in the famous historic Arches. Enjoy your meal with stunning sea views from the upstairs dining room and sheltered patio if alfresco is your choice. We specialise in fine fresh seafood served in a relaxed environment, with an extensive selection of beers, wines & spirits.
We have a private dining area and cater for large groups and parties.

    Great food, although the chocolate dessert was a little dense, but the main events - steak and the sea bream - were excellent. Good, attentive and friendly service and they prepared our food in advance for us, since we'd told them we were going straight to a show afterwards. Only dropped stars because there was no real atmosphere but that's possibly because we were eating relatively early.

    Really nice lunchtime dining experience. Delicious food, well presented. Front of house staff relaxed, attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. First time visiting this restaurant but it won’t be the last. Good views of the beach as well.

    Fabulous food, not just your standard seafood fare - some inventive dishes done really well too. generous portions, and we just had small plates. The fries were also a cut above. Reasonably priced, great position next to the sea - and to cap it off, the service was excellent: friendly, relaxed, fun and…attentive. Will definitely be returning soon.

    Lovely spot on the beach front. Staff friendly and helpful. E decided to enjoy a medley of starters which were all delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed it

    Lovely experience; fresh and delicious sea food with an incredible view. The front of house (Nat) went above and beyond for a family birthday. Very much recommend this place.

    Great little restaurant, below the promenade/on the beach. Really friendly service from the guy from the Isle of Mull. Food excellent, beautifully presented and served quickly. Highly recommend

    Definitely will revisit when next in Brighton. Everything about the restaurant was perfect. Great food, lovely staff, over-looking the beach, and very reasonably priced. A brilliant little find using open table.
