    Things have changed at the Crofton. Where as once upon a time you got good basic value for money food, Crofton has now joined the rest of the local pubs and increased prices above and beyond what inflation dictates. I appreciate that wages, fuel and food have all increased since Covid, but the customer is still paying for it. It is time that the restaurant world wake up and realised that less and less will be trending to traditional pubs and restaurants and give their custom to others. You only have to look at chains like Wetherspoons, Hungry Horse and similar pub chains to see where the crowds are. They are looking for value for money.

    Very good food. 2 Burgers and 2 cottage pies. No complaints about food. Busy as Xmas eve but food arrived promptly

    Excellent experience. Warm friendly and efficient service. Our party of 4 each had a different main course, and all felt that the food quality was superb. The portion sizes are generous. Probably the best pub dining experience we have had, having tried many others in the area over the past few years.

    Have come here on a few occasions. Family meals, the odd lunch and booked the function room for my parents 60th wedding anniversary, and this occasion was for my mum's birthday dinner. Each occasion, the booking, welcome, service and food has been great! Staff are friendly, it's always clean and the food is lovely. Thsnk you Crofton, for another lovely visit 😊
