The Cutwater on Payette Lake is a place for friends and families to connect and celebrate life with carefully crafted food and drinks. This is a restaurant unlike any other in McCall. Guests of all ages will enjoy indoor/outdoor seating (seasonal), a vibrant 2,000-gallon saltwater fish tank, analog game room and simply delicious fare on the shores of Payette Lake. The Cutwater on Payette Lake offers year-round breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.

The view was breathtaking. We basically had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Our waitress, Bellen, did an AMAZING job. She was so kind and helpful. She also brought out a little cupcake and lit a candle for my husband who was celebrating his birthday. The food was soooo good! I could eat those fries and tatertots every day. 5 stars ⭐️

Table great, server Katie great, drinks great, appetizer great(Bison Nachos); dinner for all 4 of us the Ramen Noodles were okay, but broth lacked rich flavor which made it over "Muh"..... You need to work on the broth Cutwater and up you game to match the rest of the experience!! We'll be back for burger night to check that out!

Food was whatever. Overpriced in my opinion. The wait staff was great and it's hard to beat the view of the lake. There aren't a lot of options for a nice sit-down meal. I wouldn't bother trying to have a meal like that in McCall. I would rather eat at one of the other local restaurants, have a better meal, and save a few bucks.

My husband and I had an excellent time at the cuteater celebrating my birthday. We booked a table for a Tuesday evening and it was perfect. Quiet and comfortable. The service was outstanding and we felt cared for the entire time. The spinach and artichoke dip appetizer is delicious and we had bison and pasta entrees that were savory and memorable. Can’t wait to eat here again in the future!

My steak with the Steak Frites was incredibly chewy with gristle and fat. Only roughly half of the 12 oz steak was good. The fries seemed like potato wedges I could get at the hot food section at the grocery store. I would’ve loved a bigger portion of arugula. For the price it was disappointing. Our server was top notch and the view was beautiful. Really wonder if I had ordered the Chicken Marsala or soup it would’ve been a different story. My partner had a side of salmon and it was smaller than expected but tasty. He also enjoyed the house salad.

Steak was cooked as expected and was good. The pesto pasta had a little too much balsamic for my liking. the waitress was very good and the dessert was very good

Waitress never checked back after food was delivered. She was professional but not friendly. I had to ask hostess for coffee. Salad was drenched with salt. Lettuce was not edible. My friend’s food was fine. Presentation was quite nice. I’ve been to this establishment many times. This is the first time service and food was subpar.
