Inspired by the British coastline and countryside, Executive Chef Ryan Lister is excited to bring a taste of his culinary roots to downtown Toronto. Within The Dorset’s charming and airy interior, guests are warmly invited to wet their whistles (and their appetites) at the main floor bar; or settle in upstairs for an elevated à la carte or Chef’s tasting menu experience. Serving lunch, dinner and Sunday roast, The Dorset offers patrons a myriad of ways to enjoy seasonal, contemporary British cooking and cocktails.

Served Wednesday through Saturday from 5pm in our elegant second-floor dining room, indulge in a meticulously crafted showcase of artful technique and exceptional ingredients. To further enhance your fine dining experience, enjoy curated wine pairings designed to elevate each dish. $130 per person. Excludes tax & gratuity. Please note: once booked, you will be contacted for a $50 dining deposit. Participation of the entire table is highly encouraged. Cancellations require 24 hours notice.

    An excellent dining experience. From being welcomed at the door to paying the bill and saying goodbye, everything was perfect. The host accommodated us by kindly welcoming us and showing us to our table even though we were a little early. The server guided us through the drink and food menu. She was friendly and helped by making suggestions. The food was impeccably presented and delicious. Overall a great experience and I will make it a point to come back when I return to Toronto. We'll done.

    We had tried the Dorset’s patio this summer for happy hour…was great. We decided to sit inside and have dinner early on a Friday evening. We caught the lend of happy hour, ordering a drink and an app each. Had another drink and two mains…the Burger and the Cauliflower steak. Food was fine…nothing special…total bill with tip was $200. Certainly not the value we would seek for a 5:30 meal. Will not repeat.

    A wonderful night with delicious food. Appreciated the special on wine for a Wednesday. Special thank too to our server Dillon with his fine dining serving skills and gracious approach to make our night special.

    Sunday dinner at The Dorset dining room was a.treat. It was my first visit with two guests from out of town; we were able to relax and focus on our conversation because the service was flawless and the food was delish. I'll be back with family and friends.

    I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Meet at the Dorset, and he truly elevated our dining experience! From the moment we were seated, Meet was attentive, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Every recommendation he made was spot-on, and he was quick to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask. Meet brought such a warm and welcoming energy to our table, making us feel valued and well cared for throughout the evening.
