    Embark on a culinary journey inspired by the British coast and countryside with Taste of The Dorset, our exquisite tasting menu spotlighting your choice of flavour packed meats, succulent seafood and seasonal delights. Choose from three courses for $79 or four courses for $95 and dine with us Monday through Saturday from 5pm. To further enhance your fine dining experience, enjoy curated wine pairings designed to elevate each dish (+$45 for three courses and +$60 for four courses). Participation of the entire table is highly encouraged. Cancellations require 24 hours notice.

Traditionally celebrated every Sunday, this meal brings together three of life’s greatest pleasures: quality meats, mouthwatering sides, and convivial times with good company. As integral to British culture as it is to Executive Chef Ryan Lister’s heritage, Sunday roast guarantees a meal with bold flavours, textures, and sauces. We serve each plate with roasted potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and pan gravy.     I went to the Dorset for the first time a few weeks back and had the Dorset burger which was delicious. Noticing that the owner is from Dorset in the Uk and they had a Sunday roast, I thought I was finally going to find a restaurant in Toronto that could rustle up a proper Sunday roast. So I excitedly took my family of six there for a Sunday roast. Unfortunately it was disappointing. The lamb was poorly cooked, cold and fatty. The roast potatoes weren’t quite roasts. The Yorkshire pudding was unnecessarily large and the vegetables blah. The gravy was nice and they did provide mint sauce with the lamb which is often overlooked. So my search for a proper Sunday roast is on going…any suggestions?

    We love coming to the Dorset. The food is great and they are always so sweet with our 3 year old daughter. The cocktails are delicious, and we love the Sunday roast options.

    As always the experience at The Dorset is exceptional. My partner and I have been going there since August of 2024 and it keeps getting better everyone we go. The food, the people, location and space make The Dorset one of if not our favourite restaurant to go to in Toronto. The bar is set pretty high when we go to other restaurants and most of them usually just don’t compare. Whatever you guys are doing at The Dorset please don’t stop. Thank you as always for the amazing experience and friendly welcome we always receive whenever we are there.

    The servings size are big portions especially the dessert. I only had to eat the protein on the 3rd course so I have room for dessert.
