We had both types of soup, various dumplings and set of skewers and really enjoyed everything. The food was delicious and I especially enjoyed warming soup on the cold winter day. The restaurant is very big and tables are nicely spaced out so it still feels relatively chill on the busy night and you don’t need to shout. The staff was lovely and our food arrived within good timing. Overall we had great night at Dumpling Tree and I’m looking forward to visiting it again soon. I’m quite a foodie and picky eater and not many places in Cambridge encourage me to come back, however Dumpling Tree is one of them.

Excellent selection of dishes. They cater to quite a few dietary requirements eg gluten free, vegetarian. They have an on-site car park and a nice bar since the venue used to be a pub.

The ambience is very pleasant - there's plenty of space, and it's comfortable. The staff are very good and there's no feeling of being rushed or ignored. A very varied clientele which suggests it suits a lot of people

First time visiting, we were welcomed at the door. It was very busy but we were seated at the right time for our booking, and service was quick but not rushed. Radiators were on (perfect for the weather) and ambience was great. My partner and i were given a cocktail on the house for my birthday, and there was a buy one get one free deal at the bar. Food was fabulous- hot, flavourful and very interesting. Definitely would come here again, one of my best dining experiences! I recommend.

A small delay as they had just received a large takeaway order but we were kept informed of progress and as usual the food was worth the slight delay, very polite and attentive staff.

friendly staff, great range of drinks and delicious cocktails, really good authentic home cooking Chinese food. Easy to get to and free parking. Definitely one of our new favourite Cambridge restaurants.
