The Fat Badger restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience in the heart of Harrogate. The restaurant serves superb quality AA rosette food in elegant surroundings.
Dining during Monday - Thursday your table is likely to be allocated into our bar area.
Tables for our bar on weekends and outdoor patio all the time can not be booked in advance and are offered on a first come first served basis.
Dogs are welcome if customers are happy to dine in our outdoor areas.

Superb roast beef with excellent Yorkshire Puddings. The only glitch was a delay in getting our vegetables. Otherwise great.

Great service , nice food and not too expensive . Lovely restaurant but our table was in the middle and by the doorway which was not that nice of a position . The cod was very bland and uninspiring . Roasts were good .

Every thing about The Fat Badger is wonderful! The decor is beautiful, the staff are lovely, and the food is unbelievable! We came here during our weekend in Harrogate for a birthday present so they very kindly gave my mum a glass of Prosecco to celebrate. This was our favourite meal of the trip!

We all enjoyed our meals. Grandson said his mussels starter was lush! Husband had lamb which he said melted in his mouth. We weren’t rushed which was nice. Lovely decor Waited a bit longer than necessary for desert but took one from bill as a goodwill gesture.

Great place. Food very good. Lacking attention to detail of checking plate before service. Foreign object found on plate. Overall very impressed -wouldn’t hesitate to go back..

Upon arrival the waitress was well presented & polite. Our table was ready & we was seated. But the lighting was very dull & we had to use the torch on our phones to see what was on the menu. Our first round of drinks was served quite punctual, then it seemed to go down hill. The Chateaubriand was cold & raw & had to be sent back. We had to remind the staff more than once to bring our drinks order from the bar. On the whole we won’t be returning.

Nice atmosphere. Some of staff really friendly. Some not so much. The lamb was incredibly dry and not cheap. The fish and chips were lovely. The fish pie was average but the sticky toffee pudding was great.
