Lovely Sunday Roast but service was horribly slow. It took about an hour for our first course to arrive.

Sure evening, delicious food and delightful service. We weren’t comfy on our original table and staff happily moved us to somewhere more pleasant. Will definitely go back again! Sad we didn’t get crackers… but it was not a deal breaker

Main courses were very good, good portion size & tasty. Desserts average. Room was very cold & despite asking a couple of times for the heating to be turned on, radiators remained off throughout so that one of our party had to eat in her puffa coat! Service was pleasant but haphazard- had to chase various things and waited over 45 mins for food. Price was OK but I don’t think we are likely to return.

we meet monthly here. the food and staff are very good. check it is not a quiz night if you like quiet ambience

I chose fish and chips which took longer than expected to arrive. The fish was tough and luke warm as were the fries. My guest had the pie which was very good. I did not send my meal back because I did not wish to disrupt an important meeting. I explained the problem to the staff once my guest had gone.They dealt with the problem very professionally and offered to discount the bill.

We always love coming here for our Sunday dinner. Service is amazing, the staff are friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. Can’t wait to come back.

It was my first time at the Fifield Inn. Me and my wife booked for a Sunday roast, the food was lovely, probably the best roast dinner we've had compared to other local pubs and restaurants in the area, I cant fault service, and the staff were very helpful. The pub was packed and very noisy so probably not the place to go of you want a quiet Sunday lunch, but the place to go if you want a great Sunday Lunch.

Four of us in for lunch and every dish was excellent. Venison sausages, cheese and bacon burger and a Thai chicken green curry. Two of us had the brioche bread & butter pudding. With drinks and coffees plus tip it was £37.50 per head which was good value. Service was very good, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was just right for a Saturday afternoon, relaxed and the sound of people chatting and enjoying themselves.
