Accompany your dishes with wines from our 300-strong beverage list - recently awarded Two Glasses in the 2022 Australia's Wine List of the Year (the sixth year in a row). Settle into rustic surroundings while you contemplate the provincial-style menu and indulge in the theatrics of the open kitchen as InterContinental’s chefs prepare culinary marvels before your eyes. We are also the proud winner of the Best Restaurant in a Hotel/Resort at the Restaurant & Catering 2022 Awards for Excellence – South East Queensland.

Can’t choose from the a la carte menu? Head Chef Randy Tablan has conducted a melody of Queensland’s finest flavours with a six-course degustation highlighting his favourite items on the menu. *This menu requires a 24hr notice.*

                                                                                                        We had a lovely table for two by the window, a lovely service staff attended to us and was super lovely and helpful. We had the soup of the day as a starter and a share plate main of roast lamb with root vegetables. It was absolutely fantastic!

                                                                                                        Food preparation and presentation was excellent. Service was great. We were seated near the food preparation area. It was extremely hot and we were sweating. Simple food being very expensive.

The atmosphere was serene, luxurious, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect setting for a special meal. The quiet and elegant ambiance added to the overall charm, allowing me to fully enjoy the dining experience. Every detail, from the decor to the service, exuded sophistication and warmth.                                                                                                         Great Anniversary Dinner at the Fireplace restaurant. We visit this restaurant a few times a year and the current food selection and service is fantastic. The selection and quality including service was excellent. I recommend giving it a try.
