The Folio Bar & Kitchen rewrites the food and drink script for the storied city of Cambridge. Follow as our creative chefs compose home-cooked classics full of clever twists and inspiring turns, including mouth-watering Dish. Featuring plant-based experiments, vegan and vegetarian dishes, and favourite drinks are all given a wonderfully-crafted modern rethink. Afternoon Tea at the Folio Bar & Kitchen is certainly a special occasion. Served on a tiered stand are all the hallmarks of a quintessential English Afternoon tea - scones, finger sandwiches, sweet treats, all masterfully crafted by our in-house Pastry Chef. Not to mention an exquisite selection of teas. For a special treat, feel free to pair your experience with a glass of bubbly. Advanced Booking is required.

    Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere, the staff were very good. The food was amazing, we had the steak which was cooked to perfection as we requested. Loved it thankyou!

    Booked this event as a 90th birthday treat for my mum. Confirmed with the hotel this morning that everything was right and confirmed this was a birthday treat. Had to wait an hour for food. When I spoke to the manager of the restaurant he said there had been a miscommunication between them and the kitchen. The food has obviously been rushed and didn’t look great. Mum was upset by it all and it ruined what should have been a memorable birthday treat. Very unhappy about the whole experience as we cannot repeat such a special occasion

    Our lunch was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived and were seated, everything was perfect. The menu was beautifully presented and offered some of the best options I’ve seen in Cambridge. The food was not only delicious but also served in perfectly sized portions, with lovely presentation to match. Compliments to the entire team—I couldn’t stop telling my friends how flawless the experience was. Bravo!

    The food and staff are amazing! The food we had Scallops for starters and the Fellow Fish and chips as main followed by Apple Crumble each dish was hot, fresh and tated amazing. The Staff were attentive and polite and could not do enough for you, service was at a nice clam pace and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Price wise, we thought it was value for money considering price as the quality was exceptional. Highly recommended a vist as you will not regret it. Thank you Fillo staff 😊

    Food menu is okay, it is just overly priced. If you are someone that travel alot or do alot of eat outs in other cities like London, Peterborough, Manchester, Birmingham, Luton just to mention a few. You will quickly find out Cambridge Restaurants are overly Priced for a bare-minimum food options.

    The afternoon tea was actually good the place is really cold and the service is unfortunately really bad. You can obviously feel that the waiter lacked of experience. It was awkward at some point. She made me pay the full price of a glass of prosecco at £8 something but on the menu, it was an extra £5 for this exact glass. When I told her she just panicked and I don't wanted to be more bothered because I knew the situation would be complicated to held by this young girl. We just left. for good.

    We had a wonderful time there thanks to the staff! We brought two children, 4 and 7 years old, and the staff were so sweet and kind to us! We all enjoyed being there. The food was excellent, and I loved the cake and drinks from buffet. We will definitely visit there again!
