The Front Porch is an intimate restaurant featuring creative Southern Coastal Cuisine located in historic Leonardtown. Set within the Sterling House, we offer casual dining in a cozy atmosphere and our friendly staff delivers gracious service.

We are open for outside, dine-in downstairs and dine-in upstairs seating by reservation only. Outside seating is weather permitting and available in order of booking. Outside seating is only available if you are given the option when you confirm your reservation.. Please call for any party in excess of 8 people. Please call if anyone in your party can not walk upstairs. We do not have an elevator. If you cannot show up for your reservation... Please call and cancel. PLEASE!

                                                                                      The food and service was great. The only available seating was outside, and it was pretty cold. It would have been nice to have an outdoor heater or fire going.

                                                                                      This is a lovely place with gorgeous ambience and a large variety menu. The food was good.. I had the quiche but they didn’t offer Worcestershire Sauve which is a must for quiche. They did bring me small plastic container when I asked but a bottle of that should be a staple in the table when quiche is on the menu. The service was excellent .

                                                                                      As always my family and I had an amazing meal and time at The Front Porch. Although very busy, our waitress (sorry I forget her name) was amazing and very attentive. The ambiance, the staff and our food were outstanding as always. Can’t wait to go back. The Front Porch will always be one of my families favorites!

                                                                                      Front Porch was delightful. Food was very good, especially the red pepper soup. Service was friendly and helpful. It is always interesting how they seat you when they see you are a part of one! This was a beautiful setting in an old home, so I enjoyed looking at the history.
