The g Hotel & Spa extends across three Signature Lounges & a beautiful Cocktail Bar, each designed by world-famous milliner to the stars Philip Treacy. While each of these stunning guest areas have their own individual personality, all of them provide a beautiful location for bites, meals & Afternoon Tea, with friends, family or colleagues.

In our iconic Grand Salon, you can relax under an incredible mirrored lighting display created in collaboration with infamous lighting designer Tom Dixon. Alternatively, you can go through to our famous Pink Room and sit beside bright paneled walls that look down on monochrome geometric rugs. Or perhaps you might prefer lying back and unwinding in our elegant Gentlemen’s Lounge.

Our special Dinner & a Movie package is €40 per person for a 2 Course, Sunday to Thursday only or €48 for a 3 Course Menu. To facilitate the movie times, we recommend you dine at least 2 hours prior to your chosen movie time. We will purchase your movie tickets prior to your meal so that its waiting for you at your table when you arrive.                                                           When we arrived, valet took care of the car right away but there was nowhere to check in for our tea service. I had to track down a hostess who seemed confused by what I was asking, and also didn't have our correct reservation in the system, I feel like that is an OpenTable booking error. We were seated at a table in the sun next to a window where it was very warm. after sweating it out a few minutes we asked to move to a different spot. Staff was very accommodating, but it seemed odd to put us there to begin with, there were so many other shady spots available. The lobby has 3 or 4 rooms to be used for this type of service and most were completely empty. Service was pleasant and attentive. The food served was a mixed bag. The 4 savory offerings were horrible and disliked by all 4 people in our party. One of use had to excuse themselves to the restroom mid meal. The recipes were overly complicated ingredients that did not pair well with tea, and were not particularly nice to eat in a warm room (like the fish or mushrooms). Stop trying so hard to be "fancy" and just stick to the classics. The sweets were a mixed reception. Most were enjoyed by all. No legitimate complaints. The tea selection was nice, everyone enjoyed their choices and it was nice to get refills and/or change flavors as desired. Price was what you'd expect for a "5 start" hotel, however the hotel feels aged if you really spend some time looking around. I felt the tea service was overpriced. We came here 5 years ago and had a great experience, so we brought friends with us this time, hyping it up as this great thing. We were so disappointed in theirs and ours overall experience that we paid for everything rather than split the cost 50/50 as planned. There was also no attendee at the valet when we were done, so it took quite a while to get our car and go. We will not be back the next time we are here on holiday.

                                                          Acknowledging the fact that it was the service and food quality was not what you would expect from a 5 Star hotel. There wasn't enough waiters on duty and the food tasted as if it had been prepared earlier that day, disappointing

                                                          One of the burgers came out very rare but when we flagged this to staff, they dealt with it very professionally. Aside from that, the food was great.

                                                          On booking, I advised that I was on crutches and needed a high table with normal height chair. Only low tables and chairs were offered. Mussels were part of both our meals. The mussels were unbelievably overcooked. They were replaced but by a similar offering. The wrong dessert was served. We didn’t feel like pointing this out as we were completely deflated at this stage. They did deduct the price of the dessert. As this was a double birthday celebration, we were really disappointed. We had planned on booking the restaurant at the weekend for four people, but definitely won’t be returning. A very disappointing experience.

                                                          Dinner was so poor in signature lounge. I couldn’t believe it really considering the prices. Our table was also not ready when we came down. Staff were lovely though & breakfast was v nice.
