                                We dines here pre-theater @5 pm on a Thursday. Not too many customers at that time so service was excellent- timely and attentive without being overly attentive. Food was outstanding- we dined on the Australian Rack of Lamb and the roasted 1/2 Maple Leaf Duck. Cooked perfectly. We started our meal with the Butternut Squash - delicious. Ended the meal with Carrot Cake and Crème Brûlée. Can’t say enough about this meal we thoroughly enjoyed!!

                                Food was delicious and great location. We had a new server that may need more training support from management. Service was very slow, bill wasn't divided as requested (2 people split half) server didn't check on how we were doing and quality of food, we had to waive them over for help. I'm sure a one off and won't prevent us from going back but I'll definitely request an experienced server.

                                Drinks and food were delicious, atmosphere was great,beautiful view. Waiter seemed bothered by our existence even though it was early and not busy, avoided us as much as possible

                                There really is nothing special about River 128. The couple I dined with were there in December when it was the George and little has changed. The menu is pretty much standard. Deep fried squid just like everyone else. I was looking for something different. The scallop risotto was meh. The burger was good but what’s so special about a smash burger. I had the pork porterhouse. It was good not anything that can’t be done at home. The cooked oysters were the highlight of the meal. You’ve had the desserts before elsewhere.

                                Our waitress was extremely curt, and the food was unexceptional and bland. The restaurant was mostly empty and they tried to seat us in the bar area, far away from the windows. The good news -- the broccolini was excellent!

                                Excellent food and ambience on the outdoor deck by the river combined with genuine service made the visit spectacular. The only negative was that latte/espresso wasn’t available.

                                Service was great Polite and accommodating. The risotto and Scallops were very tasty. We were able to get a table inside which was great since it was cooler outside. Tables a bit small

                                Steak was absolutely delicious, as was the Calamari. Olive bread brought to the table unprompted was a great touch. Service was outstanding. Crab Cakes had an unusual flavor we didn’t care for, but that’s not a knock on the restaurant, it’s just not to our liking. The Old Fashioned drink was excellent. There was nobody at the front to greet us when we walked in, and the hostess was located out back in the outside area. Maybe they were busy and someone had to leave the front for a minute, totally understandable. Very clean restaurant, but a bit noisy for a nice dinner for 2 (Valentine’s Day belated). Overall very good experience and we will be back for another occasion evening.
