I was very impressed by the George,I was looking for a dog friendly place and it really was. The place was busy,beautifully decorated with lights and everyone was very friendly. It was easy to order on the app and the waitress was lovely. I shall be back again 😊

Nice place to eat with lovely staff. Only issue this time was that the menu has changed (which is not the fault of The George) and has regressed several years to have much less vegetarian choice, and with overcooked vegetables on my chosen meal - a steak pie, as they no longer do the mushroom wellington or lovely vegetarian burgers that they used to. I just hope that the message gets back to the managers who decide on the menus that they've got it wrong this time as the pub and staff are great.

Attentive and helpful table service not via an app but by friendly helpful staff who went the extra mile to ensure our family special occasion was thoroughly enjoyable. That said the service is always of this standard which is why we visit so often. Thank you again all the team at The George 💕

The foods always good but the service is good and the staff are amazing and so friendly ... We use the George in Rugby regularly it's convenient near to us to !

Service excellent however not too impreesed with food . Mushroom starte was soup and think mushrooms were from a tin .

Good food, good service, they had painted a wall that morning which was a bit odd to sit you next to it. But then when is a good time to paint a restaurant?

It was a last-minute decision and we’re glad we went! The restaurant was clean, service good and the homemade tomato soup was delicious! A gem we never thought about!
