A place anyone can become George - where the party starts with you. Chef-driven American fare, unparalleled sports viewing, and captivating entertainment intersect to create The George Sportsmen’s Lounge, or for short – The George. The concept pays homage to classic Vegas big tippers, commonly called “a George” – a nod to the recognizable portrait on the one-dollar bill. The sportsmen’s lounge features indoor dining and a vibrant outdoor patio with wrap-around LED screens that create an immersive atmosphere for sports, live entertainment and private events. Sports wagering kiosks are also available within the lounge offering convenient entertainment for guests.

    Great service immediately seated in a booth as requested A little loud due to a game on tv screen A bit pricey but meal was delicious and having Eagle Rare bourbon is definitely a plus

    The George is a great place to hang out with friends to have a beer and watch anything sports related. Order the nachos, they are the best I’ve ever tasted!

    We enjoyed the atmosphere and surrounds. There is not a big variety on menu. My hot honey chicken sandwich was greasy, as were the appetizer egg rolls, so I would not order these again. Hubby had the halibut and enjoyed it. We will eventually return to try other items.

    The George at the Durango Casino is exactly the kind of bar we’ve been hoping for near home—a perfect hub for friends to gather, unwind, and enjoy top-tier drinks and food in a modern yet fun atmosphere. First off, the cocktails were spot on. The espresso martinis were rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, while the spicy margaritas packed just the right amount of heat. The mojitos were refreshing, light, and expertly made. It’s clear the bartenders take their craft seriously. The food was equally impressive, offering a wide variety of flavors that catered to every craving. Every dish we tried was top-notch, making it hard to pick a favorite. Beyond the drinks and food, the vibe of The George struck the perfect balance—modern and sophisticated but still inviting and lively. It’s an easy place to settle in and stay a while. Service was exceptional. Daniel started us off with fantastic attention to detail and great recommendations, and when his shift ended, Gavin seamlessly picked up right where he left off, keeping the experience just as smooth and enjoyable. Having a place like this so close to home is a game-changer, and we’ll definitely be back regularly. Highly recommend!

    The George Sportsman's Lounge is a great place to eat. The only issue we had was that after they seated us, they sat a party of 18. Then it got pretty noisy, Then Chase our server was overwhelmed, and the restaurant didn't give him any back up to help with Chases other guests. The food was great, Chase was great and we had g great time.
