   High quality food, locally produced and nicely cooked. It’s a great place for Sunday lunch especially in the upstairs restaurant. It’s disabled friendly and has a lift. Excellent value.

   Overall the meal was quite good but for our palate the French beans & broccoli spears were too Al dente & we got the impression that there were staffing issues. This is a pity as we have so enjoyed our previous visits.

   A much needed out of town quality dining experience for Lincoln. A beautiful setting, great ambience. My only disappointment is that there was only one vegetarian option. Definitely a great restaurant for a special occasion.

   Delicious food with impeccable service. It would have been nice to have the option to linger for longer in a lounge area near the bar. Highly recommended and we will return.

   Booked for 1pm on a Friday and the place was busy, this is good sign, so recommend booking. Great food and service, will definitely head back. Downstairs, dogs are welcome. In the summer it will be nice to go for a walk and finish with a meal and a pint.

   Requested a table by window overlooking the lake, but was given upstairs table with no view. This was a birthday treat by me for a friend, so I was disappointed.

   Great meal sampling their new menu. New lamb main course was excellent; deer starter was good also. Ambience was first class and everything was delivered with a smile and good conversation by Freya
