Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England).
Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal.
The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.
The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience.
The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. As well as the wine list developed by Margriet, who is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, there is also a wide range of international beers.

    An absolute favourite place to go to. The Greyhound never fails to deliver excellent food with passion & warmth. Went for my daughters 30th and they added little touches to add to the fantastic experience

    Fabulous evening, the service was excellent, food incredible.Every detail had been meticulously thought about,the crockery was beautiful ,wine list is very extensive and the little surprise parcels of food that kept appearing were exquisite .Will definitely go back again

    This is the best restaurant I have visited for a very long time. From entering the premises and throughout the entire evening every single member of staff was courteous, welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic. Every course, including the interim appetisers was superb. The noise level was just right, a hum of conversation but not so loud that it was obtrusive. All in all a first-rate overall dining experience that I can strongly recommend!

    The food was faultless,the service delightful and we just had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The extra little pre starters/ pre desserts were an added bonus that made it even more special.

    I’ve been multiple times over the last few years and it never disappoints. Group of 4, celebrating a few birthdays - small touches like cards and celebratory sweet treats were great. Would thoroughly recommend

    Perhaps it should not have been a great surprise that The Greyhound would deliver having been marked by Michelin, but the food was fantastic, and the service impeccable. Rohit and the team were outstanding. Definitely worth a visit! Fantastic wine selections and truly wonderful food.

    We had the vegetarian tasting menu. The service is incredible, food tasty overall. Some of the dishes were a little plain at the start but it got better towards the end. Food is well presented and home grown. Price-wise, I think it was expensive as a lunch option which I’m not sure I can justify the price point. The service is best in class which made it so special. Thank you!

    Absolutely loved our evening at The Greyhound. Exemplary service but also very friendly and accommodating. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and they went above and beyond to make him feel special. The food was superb.. Michelin worth! We will be back and next time, with friends. Loved it. Also, a thank you to Margharite (the owner), who went out her to give us a lovely tour and to learn about their journey with the business. It's a wonderful, special restaurant and needs to be up there with the top in Bucks!
