Enjoy a taste of east in the heart of west at The Ivy Asia, Chelsea.

Our menu takes you on a journey through Asia where you can enjoy sushi & sashimi, small dishes such as prawn tempura or vegetable gyoza, and large dishes including the likes of slow-cooked pork belly and avocado crispy tofu. All our meals are the perfect match for our theatrical drinks and cocktails.

Make the most of this festive season and indulge in our new two-course Festive Set Menu, featuring mouthwatering seasonal delights like Turkey Rendang Curry and a decadent Reindeer Dessert with dark chocolate mousse and chocolate pearls, it’s the perfect excuse to gather with loved ones and enjoy our opulent interiors and extravagant dishes. Made birthday very special. Great food. Some of the service in the background was a bit ‘scrappy’ (dropped items etc.)

Have experienced the Ivy Asia many times however never in Chelsea. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived. By the time we sat down it was gone 9pm. We were then finished with our starters and main courses by 9.30. Felt like they were ready to get that table back very quickly. At no point did we feel that we were being looked after. It was a matter of take order and deliver food. Very disappointing for a restaurant chain that we have always very much enjoyed. Ps. I would have given this feedback if at any touch point I was asked how it was. Paying for our meal took about 20 mins!!

Pretty venue and tasty food. It would be better if there were more vegetarian options. We felt rushed to leave. We also had briefly left our card for the cloak room on our table and it was cleared away. We then had difficulty getting our coat back from the cloakroom despite explaining this and describing the coat. It felt very cold, unhelpful and unwelcoming.

When we were leaving at the entrance/exit was only one person to greet the guests and check their reservations as well as handling the coats for those who were leaving. I was given my coat and other things all at once, there was no chair or a bench to place them on or someone to hold them and I had to scramble to hold my things and put my hat, scarf, coat - all with one hand. When Ivy Asia realise that leaving is also part of experience it will be a much better place. Also, when my fork fell while some of the dishes were being put on the table the waiter left to bring a new one. Some time later I still had no fork had to try to find someone who can bring it to me - the place with cutlery was almost behind my back, so seems like the waiter just forgot he was supposed to bring it.

Food was very good, wine was great, waiter was excellent and very helpful and attentive. All the staff were helpful and attentive. Interior vivid colours and vibrant Saturday night atmosphere meant it was fun night and good for birthday celebration. Only downside is the ridiculously loud music, especially if you’re unfortunate to sit near a speaker. Maybe it’s only on a Saturday? But when asked they did turn the music down a little which meant you could just about hear each other and the waiter. It was packed so didn’t feel like they needed the music volume. Other negative would be the adhoc live violinist being piped in through the sound system trying to add some flair to the club tunes… but it just doesn’t work at all. Better to be one or the other but both together sounds like cats fighting on the mic. Would recommend as an experience, but check where you’re sitting if you can.

This is my third time dinning at the Ivy. We were blown away by the great service provided by kaytrana. She made my friends 25th birthday so special. Thanks so much. Great food, on average £62pp which included two small sharing plates each, a cocktail, and a main. Would go again.
