    Last minute booking for my trip to Harrogate and it didn't disappoint, food was amazing and service lovely. Would definitely return.

    Had table booked for 8.45 Got there, too busy. Sat outside as table wasn’t ready finally got table at 9.15, took ages to be served. Scallops and duck salad was lovely but my partner got the lobster linguine and it was absolutely tasteless and tough, told the waitress but her response was did you not put salt and pepper on! Well at that price a dish shouldn’t need salt and pepper to taste good. (37.95) no discount on the dish or even an apology but hey ho lesson learned. Lovely place but food and service let it down it was his 50th birthday surprise as I put on the booking but nothing special was done and paying over £150 you’d think it would be. Also service charge on bill which doesn’t go as a tip as the waitress explained so be warned!!

    It was a birthday lunch just didn’t feel very special this visit. Toilets were blocked everyone had to use the disabled

    Fantastic service with brilliant food. We arrived late due to traffic but there was no issue in them holding the table. Would highly recommend, in a time when everything is expensive I still found going here fairly priced for the overall experience.

    A great venue for an occasion, my wife’s birthday and to enjoy a fantastic Amex credit we have. Our server was very attentive but not over bearing. That was nice. We had good food and it’s always nice to be in surroundings with a nice ambience. Thanks for a superb birthday meal for my wife and it was on that day, so she did enjoy it. Thanks for the superb service and we’ll be back at some point in the future. Regards Richard & Adele.
