At the Lake House, we’re short on formalities and big on making you feel comfortable. Stop by for an easy lunch on the deck with blue skies and a cool breeze. Linger over a romantic dinner and drinks in the warm glow of our fireplace. Enjoy the view of a snow-covered lake. Whether you’re with your boss or your best friend, you’re going to have a wonderful time, every time, at the Lake House. Around here, people love the water. When you take a look at the Lake House, this becomes abundantly clear (our location on the marina is no accident). Naturally, we have gorgeous views of the lake. And when the weather is good and enticing, we have an ample bar and deck outside where you can enjoy the breeze - and shoot the breeze with an al fresco lunch or dinner. We’ve even built this attitude into our bar: while it starts out inside, it ends up outside closer to the water. Come see for yourself.

I had the salmon and my husband the white fish. It was overall okay but the portions were small for everything but the carbohydrates. Salmon was really overcooked. But the staff were very friendly. Probably wouldn’t go again for dinner and maybe try the lunch sandwich menu.

Great food with a great waitstaff! Walleye and the crème brûlée was amazing. Brandon our waiter was prompt and awesome. Thank you!

Our experience at the Lake House was fantastic! Valentine’s dinner couldn’t have gotten any better, our food was amazing, our service was phenomenal (Request Ben as your server!!), and the overall experience was incredible. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend Valentine’s day.

The older hostess at the door was very unpleasant and non knowledgeable about reservations and seating. Food was delicious. Waitress was Great. Music was good. Atmosphere was nice.

We went for valentine’s dinner. Walking in it’s an open space with a view of a harbor. This was all frozen this time of the year so the cool tones inside were lackluster. We sat at a table and were promptly greeted. The server was wonderful. We ordered drinks then dinner from the valentines menu. The small salads came out and were both good and fresh. Then the main course came out. I had chicken Milanese which is a small chicken cutlet fried with lemon butter sauce. There was nothing special or good about it. The sauce was horrid and just having a piece of fried chicken slapped on a white plate for $40 was disappointing at best. My wife had steak Alfredo. The “steak”was stew meat at best, chewy /stringy, and the Alfredo was marginally ok all for another $40. This was our first and last visit.

The service is outstanding. The food is always presented exceptionally well but question the serving size for the price. The portions seemed a bit small, such as four small scallops with a large amount of risotto. The perch was good but needed more seasoning. The window seats are always drafty and the oil candles on the table give off a strong fumes smell.
