Love this place, eat here quite often. From the Crab Pasta to the Steaks, and all the appetizers everything is amazing.

The lodge has potential and I will go back. The food tasted very good. The servers were very friendly and were working hard to give us a good experience. The bartender was super friendly and as soon as she heard it was my friend's birthday she offered to comp her drink . The short rib stroganoff had a wonderful flavor and the meat was extremely tender. My friend got the chicken which came with potatoes that were wonderful. The sauce on the chicken was also flavorful and a little spicy. Very nice! There were, however, a few drawbacks. Our entrees arrived about 2 minutes after our appetizer which was way too soon. Our second round of drinks did not arrive for about 10 minutes . Our dessert did not arrive for about 15 minutes after we ordered it. Our waiter said there was an issue with their ordering system. one way or the other, they have some timing issues. My water glass did not get refilled once until dessert. Back to the positive side, our blueberry pancake bread pudding with brown sugar maple ice cream was fantastic. The ice cream was the highlight of the night. I asked our waiter if we could have a second scoop and he happily obliged. It was fantastic. I would come back just for the ice cream! I also want to thank the Lodge for not playing loud music. It was a treat to be able to hear my friend and have a lovely conversation.

This was our first time here and it exceeded our expectations. Upon entering, we didn’t realize how large the place was until we were led into the side room and seated at a table with a panoramic view of the lake and the mountains and the sunset. We then looked at the menu and saw that there were many items that we wanted to try. We ended up both having the fillet and the foie gras. Both were excellent. The wine list was also extensive, a little expensive but well thought out. The service was excellent and the ambience is really nice.

I made reservations for 4 pm to have a birthday dinner for my wife. When we got there, we were seated at a nice table overlooking the lake. We looked at the menu and decided on our order but then the wait staff came and advised us we could only order from the happy hour menu, which was just appetizers. We were not advised that although they were open at 4, only snacks were available until 5. We were both very disappointed as we were hungry and looking forward to a nice meal. The staff was great and very apologetic. We did order appetizers and left, very unsatisfied. It seems to me that when I made reservations, I should have been told no dinner was served until 5, and I could have taken my wife elsewhere. Please make note and don't get blindsided like we did.
