   The Mariners is always a great place to eat, the ambiance the food and the service are always excellent. When I have friends and family visiting me this is the “go to” place since I can always count on a great experience. As owner of Natchitoches Bed and Breakfast family of Inns in Natchitoches I can also assure you that many of our guest rate The Mariners as one of their top dining destinations in Historic Natchitoches Louisiana.    The wait staff was very courteous and attentive. Our food orders were brought quickly. The food was delicious and the portions were sufficient for the price. An amazing restaurant and overall experience.

   Excellent service, our steaks were prepared perfectly. And considering the special night, Valentines Day, the place was full but speed of service was amazing . No rush and no hurry felt and great experience.

   Steak was not seasoned well. Lobster tail did not come with any sauce. Oysters tasted frozen. For the price of the meal for my wife and I, one appetizer and two entrees with no alcohol was $200. I would have been more satisfied at my local family restaurant with the same type of meal for $80.

   We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day date! Our waiter (Matt) was very kind, attentive, and courteous. The hostess was very polite and accommodating (we needed wheelchair seating). The food was delicious! We love The Mariner’s and come a few times a year.

   Great atmosphere and service was excellent. The food was good, however the steak could have been seasoned better. Also the prices of bourbon were pretty high. The amount of one ounce of some of these were as much as the cost of an entire bottle.
