Such a great pub. My favourite in the area. Great drinks selection and really high quality. Traditional pub that nails the cosy, restored old fashioned vibe. Only criticism is it needs more vegetarian options for mains.

Our family enjoyed a lovely Sunday dinner tonight. Our server Matt was excellent (and we loved his festive tie). All the staff were wonderful. Was a great choice to include in our London holiday.

Great food, lovely atmosphere. Perfect for some food after retail therapy in nearby Columbia Road.

Lunch lived up to its reputation. We’d long wanted to try this pub and the warm welcome and great lunch didn’t disappoint. Only slight shame was that we were upstairs which feels less like a pub and more like an after thought. Although it’s a good place to eat if anyone is a little hard of hearing as it’s quieter and less crowded.

Can get quite loud and the service may ve a little slow if you're going on a busy day. I'd probably keep this a casual, smaller group (2-3) type venue.

Had high expectations following recent reviews, staff was superb very pleasant. Starters are good although little tepid. Both went for the beef disappointing generally the plate was tepid as well and the beef very cheey although rare. After tracking across London for this, it was a disappointing day.
