The Oxford serves up all of that – and more – in one fun, relaxed gastropub.

The Oxford Pub was the proverbially "needle in the haystack!" WHAT A FIND!!! My guest and I were fortunate to sit outside on a sunny afternoon and now that Murphy Street has been closed to traffic and turned into a pedestrian walkway, even made it more delightful! I was looking for something different and found it!
More surprising was the twists in flavor, ingredients and presentation on common dishes such as fried calamari strips, beef stroganoff bowl and tri-tip sandwiches. Fresh, hot, tasty and to top it off a great selection of beers to accompany the food. I tried their "seasonal roundtable' and was served a bourbon-barrel stout that blew my mind and tastebuds! In short, if you are tired of the "same o - same-o" for menu items, I invite you to sample what is on The Oxford Pub's menu for a welcomed surprise!! YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!

They were closed the night of NYE (for our reservation), they forgot to turn off the Opentable reservations

The restaurant was closed. Open Table took the reservation and sent confirming texts and emails. Even threatened to only hold the reservation for 15 minutes. The Oxford was closed for two weeks. Either they don’t know how to use the software or Open Table failed. I think a 1 star rating is deserved

Made a reservation for Friday 12/27 at 8:15 pm. Showed up, restaurant closed. Sign on door says the restaurant is closed for the holidays. Would have been nice if they turned off reservations.

Very frustrating! The place was closed for the holidays & OpenTable accepted reservations & followed up with reminders about the reservation. Got to the restaurant to find the lights out & note on the door explaining their holiday closure. Not cool!
Luckily there were other dining options nearby.

The restaurant staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. They did not rush us to order our food and drinks. It's a great place to meet friends because the restaurant isn't noisy, making it easy to have a conversation and enjoy the food and drinks.

I went to The Oxford with colleagues. The service was attentive, the food delicious, and they have a great selection of UK beers. Love the Old Speckled Hen!
