At The Pigs, good, honest food is served. You’ll feel the culinary heartbeat pumping through the pub at The Pigs. The dedicated team of chefs and staff work hard to ensure that the foodie roots remain firmly grounded. The food served is local, fresh, innovative, and always delicious. The establishment is family-friendly and a great place to eat and come to for celebrating special occasions.

This is a country pub, and although we are passionate about our food, we stay loyal to the building’s roots and ensure it has the atmosphere we all relish from a pub.

Staff were welcoming and attentive. Missed an opportunity to enhance our experience as we were celebrating a birthday which was noted on the booking and I mentioned it to the server which went over his head. Food was good, very large portion of you like that, it was too much for me (main course was the blade of beef with mash). I was too full to try a dessert. Wine list very limited. The restaurant itself was comfortable and well lit, nicely decorated etc.

Can highly recommend both the Pigs Salmon & Chicken/Bacon salads. We really enjoyed them and they are surprisingly filling! Very enjoyable date night in a lovely location.

We stayed at The Pigs for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We had a lovely stay and the food was delicious.

When we arrived the car park was full, but the pub was not over crowded (as there are different rooms to dine in!) All the servers were polite and efficient We had one member of our party celebrating a special birthday so I asked the bar staff on arrival if we could have a special message on the plate on a dessert, and even though we were too full to have a dessert in the end after our starter and main, they still remembered to bring out a small dessert with a candle, so top marks for that. The pub was still decorated for Christmas so that was nice and of course, there are Pigs everywhere The food was delicious!!!!! My only gripe would be, that the menu is advertised on the website, so picky eaters can take a look before arrival, but I appreciate the menu probably changes on a regular basis.
