    Second time dining at Thurlton Queen’s Head, love everything about the place, cosy & warm on a grey autumn day, lots of choice on the menu, food was delicious and a fine selection of gins on the bar, will definitely return

    Our first time at the Queens Head. We hadn’t even ventured into Thurlton before! Nice location, plenty of parking. Restaurant was lovely! Menu was good, food was lovely. Service was fantastic! We will definitely be paying another visit!

    First visit since new ownership, and the food was excellent and impressive, including a fine Sunday lunch with all elements well-produced. Service was very slow and patchy though - staff tend to stay in the bar area and seem to forget about the restaurant customers, don't notice what needs to be done so have to be chased, and only respond to chef's service calls. Happily he seems to keep on top of order sequence.

    Excellent roast chicken and roast beef lunches for my husband and I. Plus wonderful chocolate brownies for dessert…perfect! Plus an extra 10% off deal for this particular weekend. Thoroughly recommended

    The food was lovely. The service was great. The meal was value for money. The beer was good as my husband had 3 although a bit pricey. We will be back again soon.

    Over an hour and 15mins for our food to arrive, had to wait 10mins for knifes and forks to be brought to the table. Then over another hour for our desserts order to be taken. Poor menu selection ran out of most things before 7pm
