   Amazing night. Had lots of options for my partner who has a gluten allergy. We had three starters, stuffed peppers, bbq prawns and halloumi fritters. All beautiful. We then both had the lamb curry which was incredible. Compliments all round to the chefs and the front of house team! So good we booked again for the following night!

   Nice food, lovely and friendly service. However, the portion sizes were too small and found the food a little salty. They also don’t have the same level of service quality as they once had. Overall, it’s still 4 out of 5, but I left hungry and like the quality has dropped in the last 6-12 months.

   We came to The Red Cow for a date night having seen the steak offer. My partner had rump steak with peppercorn sauce and I had the flat iron with mushroom sauce. Everything, and I mean everything, tasted amazing even the char grilled cherry tomatoes. My partner thought the sauce was the best he'd ever tasted. Really delicious, a bit disappointed neither of us had room for one of the desserts. Service was excellent too, very professional and unobtrusive, thank you!

   As a decent basic cook myself and someone who has cooked many many roast dinners, I was sceptical a pub could deliver something I would truly enjoy. How wrong I was! We had beef and pork meals and all three were absolutely delicious. Meat cooked to perfection and vegetables al dente! Service was also very efficient and friendly and ambience lovely

   Good food, if a little on the pricey side. But the quality was good so it was worth the money. Pleasant ambiance in a lovely old pub

   Veggie nut roast with all trimmings. Roast pots yorkshire and veg was absolutely perfect. Nut roast a little disapointing. Wild boar hot dog good and meat roast good. Veggie chilli good but pricey. Tried 4 different puds. All tasty. Very convivial atmosphere and dog friendly bar. Lovely staff. We like this pub, nice village and good parking.

    Beautiful old thatched pub with stunning rooms in the attached barn. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Separate dining area and the food was really delicious.
