    Wonderful food. Service was unfortunately mediocre. Had to ask three times for sauce for my filet. Nevertheless, an outstanding restaurant with live piano on weekends.

    The food was fine, and our location in the back by the bar was suitably quiet.. The poor rating stems from the bar service -- on multiple counts. First, even though very few people were seated at the bar while we waited there for our table to be ready, the inattentive & couldn't be bothered bar staff took forever before deigning to take our drink order. Second, the drinks were poorly made. Third, when a member of our party, who had worked her way through school as a bartender, explained to our waiter why her drink was off (because the bartender had used a premix instead of making it properly), he listened patiently and went back to the bar staff to get one done properly; however, the replacement drink was done precisely the same shoddy way as the first. Finally, we were charged for both the original poorly made drink and the equally poor replacement -- not the high standard of service one would expect at a nice establishment where etiquette calls for something not up to snuff to be replaced with only one charge.

    Had 2 birthdays. Everything was great. We were probably the loud ones. Nice restaraunt!

    Very nice ambiance. We loved the piano player. One of the few places in Nashville with Beef Wellington, which was delicious. We had a nice time and I would return.

    My wife & I had a wonderful experience here, now one of our new favorites! We love the layout & decor, the white tablecloths! Dan was great as our server, the food was perfect, can’t wait to go back.

    Excellent service from the Valet parking, Hostess stand and Ashley, our Server. Ashley timed the meal perfectly. She and her "team" were personable, helpful and knowledgeable. Background piano music added to the ambiance. Food and drink were very good and will certainly bring us back for more in the future. Great location for the Bridgestone Arena events

    The River House is consistently outstanding. The Dover Sole and Crab cakes were perfectly seasoned and prepared. The Brussel sprouts and creamed spinach were also excellent. Service was top-notch!
