Welcome to The Rose Inn
The Rose Inn is located in the beautiful rural area of North Warwickshire in the village of Baxterley with stunning views over Leicestershire, Birmingham and on
into the far distance.

The Rose sits opposite the site of the old Baddesley colliery, behind the village green and duck pond with an orchard and large relaxing area overlooking the pond.

Originally believed to be a 'Gentleman's residence', the building dates back to the 18th century and has served as a courthouse, jail, mortuary and for more than a hundred years as a public house.

Tender meats, perfectly cooked vegetables. A go to Sunday roast restaurant. Would definitely recommend

The service was good and attentive. Some of the starters were good, but the main course was a bit disappointing. The onion rings were sitting in a pool of oil and just couldn't be eaten, but the burger was good. The Shepherd's Pie was good but a really small portion. While we were there 2 other tables had issues or sent food back. The menu has good choice but as someone with a gluten and dairy intolerance, I was so disappointed to see so few options. Only one starter of confit lamb but half the dish was left off to make it dairy free but still charged full price. There were only two main courses I could eat and no desserts. I've loved The Rose for many years and it is still a great pub but unless there's some changes to what could be a great menu, we won't be returning.

Food was amazing. Service was very good nothing was too much trouble. Had a great time. Love coming here for food !!!

As always gorgeous Sunday lunch at the Rose. Tender meat, lovely hot food and al dente vegetables. It's my go to Sunday restaurant
