   Can't believe there was no coke no lemonade. Had to decide what dessert you wanted when you ordered carvery plus dessert, before you even ate. Carvery is next to ladies toilet. Layout for queuing needs attention. This used to be our favourite place for Sunday lunch. Sorry won't be going again.

   The food was good quality and the staff were mostly helpful. It was a relaxed atmosphere to spend a few hours on a Sunday afternoon.

   The food was pretty good. The pig in blanket was over done, one member of staff on when we turned up and their booking system was down. No syrup in the Pepsi and no one asked if we were ordering food. The value was great and a help yourself carvery is always nice but it felt a bit shambolic that day. They were on the back foot and weren’t ready for when the punters started pouring in which happened quite quickly. It’s a pretty good roast dinner

   It was lovely, was quiet when I was there but the service was attentive and warm. Food was lovely and would definitely be visiting again. They accommodated dietary requests and fussy-ness if that counts. Thanks for the lovely meal!

   The staff were nice and friendly, even had a laugh with the waitress, service was a bit slow, the food was okay but not something I’d write home about and expensive for what it was, the room was cold and only had a small fan heater warming a large area. Will most probably come back but won’t necessarily rush.

   First time at the stables , and last! Food was absolutely awful , couldn't even cut the meat it was so tough Stood for ages in the que , hardly any veg left, no sauces , and hardly any gravy , which tasted of salt! They clearly couldn't cope with the amount of people.

   “Absolutely amazing experience! I came on Valentine’s Day without a booking, and despite it being a busy night, the new manager kindly accommodated us. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was just perfect. We had such a great night that I had to come back today and book just to leave this review! Huge shoutout to Woody for creating such a fantastic vibe and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Well done to the whole team—can’t wait to come back again!”

    Come in for lunch today and was quiet However the food was outstanding we had the linguini special It did not fail to impress me and my partner she had the homemade fish pie and that was just as lovely will be coming back very soon…..
