They should remove Steakhouse from there name. Ordered $120 Tomahawk Steak. It was first served raw then after what looks like they put it in the microwave it became un eatable. There solution was a 20% discount on a steak they could not correctly cook. Paso Robles has a ton of great food options, i would try theses first before returning to this Steakhouse

We stayed at the Paso Robles Inn so right onsite. Not a lot of options on the menu but food was good. We like to share multiple courses and there was an extra fee to share the main course. I haven't seen that in years and we dine out frequently. Service was very good. The remodeled bar upstairs is very nice and service very good.

Came for the prime rib. Just visiting in town on our way to someplace else. It seemed like it was going to be delicious because it was cooked to perfection, just how we liked it. But as we cut into it, it was tough. Also, the baked potatoes were hardly cooked. They were still hard. I did love my carrots, though! Very kind people and very attentive server.

I typically love this restaurant but tonight my experience was not so great. We arrived 15 mins before our reservation time and were told we needed to wait to closer to reserved time - which is fair - so my group went upstairs to enjoy the live music. The hostess said she would text me when our table was ready… ten minutes after our reserved time we went down stairs and the hostess said “oh, yeah, we can seat you now”… obviously she forgot about my reservation. Our waiter was pleasant and nice and we ordered Brussel sprouts; rib eye steak, prime rib, and two New York steaks. The rolls we were served were hard, stale, and basically inedible. So disappointing considering the caliber of this restaurant but who complains about free bread. Our steaks came out before the Brussel sprouts so the waiter said he would check with the chef… it never came out but it seemed like he was going to bring it out but not charge us. After the fourth inquiry he just said the chef cancelled the order… but that he would bring us a free dessert. The two New York steaks were ordered med rare but both came out very rare so the waiter apologized and said they would cook it more. Both came back overcooked - medium and on the wrong plates. The prime rib was great and the rib eye was just okay. After dinner, the waiter brought out a chocolate dessert, but two people in our party were allergic to chocolate so we asked if we could get a different dessert but the waiter said that they were sold out of all the other desserts. Reservations were for Friday at 7:30 and the restaurant was only 2/3 full so not super busy. No one came out to apologize for the poor experience and we were just left with the bill. Our group love Paso and come up often and we’ve eaten here 5 times but sadly this will be our last.

We ate here twice over New Yeras. First night at bar upstairs. Had great service from Nate and a very good meal. I had a NY Strip and my wife had the salmon. Both were great. I would suggest splitting the salads if you order one as they are large. Steaks include two sides and a sauce, so pricing is very fair. New Yeras Eve ate downstairs. Reservation was at 7 and checked in about 6:40 and were told table would be ready on time. Unfortunately, people at our table were slow and got seated at 7:25. While waiting manger brought us a flute of champaign and apologized for the delay. Food again was excellent as my wife did a repeat and I had a filet. Coconut shrimp as an appetizer was very good. Service was perfect. If you are eating downstairs, you should make a reservation as not a large restaurant.

We live in Paso and decided to stay at the Inn to get out of the house for New Year's Eve, enjoy the downtown activities, and avoid driving. First I'd like to give all the staff a shout-out for their courtesy and service. I also thank House Manager Kevin for his professionalism, attentiveness, and desire to have everything go as planned. Rather than griping about what didn't occur, I would like to mention some ideas for the future that might be helpful. 1. When booking dinner reservations on special occasions like NY Eve, include a statement that clarifies booked parties are limited to specific # hours at the table (unless there are delays due to staffing or kitchen error). It is not unusual to see this in restaurants, and it limits people making reservations who bogart the table the whole evening. 2. Rethink your parking. The restaurant parking area is small. It is also used by folks who are not restaurant patrons and as an overflow for hotel guests. The Valet parking is on the other side of the building, and the process is not straightforward. 3. The areas to be used for Valet parking need to be marked as "Valet Parking Only"; otherwise, they are open to anyone parking without pause. In some cases, I witnessed ... non-hotel/restaurant guests parking. 4. Have someone assigned explicitly to quality check any food that is ready to leave the kitchen when you have new teams working together and/or working under the additional stress of a backed-up restaurant and unhappy guests who have waited and want their food "NOW". Perhaps send out complimentary (and easy-to-prepare) appetizers to bide some time. Many folks will tolerate a little more time if they feel acknowledged. I appreciate how difficult it is to please everyone, and it may never happen. And you can always improve.

We have eaten at the Paso Steakhouse several times and liked their consistency with their food. However, last night was a disappointment. My husband and I ordered the prime rib, but started with their roasted brussel sprouts appetizer. The brussel sprouts were delicious. However, the prime rib was tough, flavorless, and arrived lukewarm. My husband ate his, but I could barely eat it. I did eat the baked potato and roasted asparagus, which were both fine. Once our food was delivered, our waitress never came by to check on us. We were only drinking water, and she never came back to refill my husband's empty water glass. The manager was walking around the room, but he did not notice that my meal was barely touched until my husband was completely finished. He then asked if there was a problem, and we explained the issues with the prime rib. He apologized and said he would take care of things. The waitress finally came back with the check, but never mentioned any problems with the food. The manager had taken my meal off the bill, which we appreciated. In the end, we were very disappointed with the food. I really wanted to like the meal because I like the Paso Robles Inn, which was recently renovated and has kept its historic charm intact. With so many good restaurants in Paso Robles, I doubt we will return to the Paso Steakhouse.

Very good food but you could tell the restaurant is hurting for servers. We sat with empty water and wine glass for 15 minutes as our server passed us by several times. Recommend this place for the food but be aware service might be lacking a tad
