   Staff were so nice and helpful, very attentive to us. David was our waiter and he was just lovely, down to earth and very kind. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back. Thank you .

   My friend and I received a voucher for helping a friend. I suggested the Stravaig as our friends had not been. Despite an issue on what menus we had been told were available and restrictions on the use of the voucher (it was Mother's day) the duty manager - Ross - resolved the problems after recognising the misunderstanding. The food was, as always great and our friends enjoyed their meal, the atmosphere and the service. We are regular and our friends are certain they'll return.

   I'd avoid the Ayrshire gammon; egg overcooked and only warm with look warm potatoes and veg. Had a side order of hot veg after complaining but the turnip was still bland and overcooked. Waitress was apologetic but it wasn't her fault. It was a quiet night so noo excuse really. Shame it was my 65th birthday.

    Lunch for Less menu makes the Stravaig even more worth a visit. Food and service excellent and plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options. We felt unhurried and were able to sit back and talk before leaving. Definitely recommended.
