Chef Claude Bosi has acquired The Swan Inn, the pub has been updated whilst still retaining a traditional pub feel. Serving classic pub and comfort food favourites. Typical dishes include crab on toast, skate wings with beurre blanc and Jersey Royals, The Swan burger, treacle tart with clotted cream and rhubarb jelly and custard. A traditional roast with all the trimmings will be served on Sunday. Children will have their own menu.

The Swan Inn has a large dining area for up to 55 guests, outdoor seating for up to 100 guests, and a private dining room on the first floor with views across the common seating up to 18 diners.
There are six bedrooms available to book should you wish to extend your stay with us.

The Swan Inn is conveniently located close to both Esher common and Sandown racecourse.

I have eaten in the Swan on numerous occasions and the standard of food is deteriorating rapidly. The menu isn’t very inspiring and the prices have been rising for what is now very average pub grub. The staff have always been nice, welcoming & attentive, but the fayre they are serving is letting them down. The owner has definitely taken his eye off the ball with this pub, as he focuses on other more high profile ventures.

I have been to the swan many times, but not lately until Sunday. I had brought my son and daughter in law who were visiting England from Taiwan and wanted to take them to the Swan as I had always enjoyed Sunday roast and fish and chips there and sun your praises. Unfortunately I was disappointed as the food was definitely not as good as it used to be. I thought the dessert choice was very limited and did not enjoy the Sticky Toffee sponge as it was far too sweet.

The pub has a lovely feel about, being cosy, warm and friendly. The staff are welcoming, polite and helpful. We found the menu prices expensive for what you got. Both ordered burgers which were cooked to individual preferences and were quite tasty but not much above the ordinary. The chips had been sprinkled with rosemary salt but otherwise were pretty ordinary. Desserts are expensive...we shared one....it was delicious.
