Override is our series of guest chef takeovers, presented by John Javier, where innovative menus set the stage for a sensorial experience as dinner seamlessly transitions into our hypnotic after-dark scene.
The current Override [03] is in collaboration with Zen Ong, the creator of Inda and Awan, and the former head of YZY Food. Zen brings MEJA to The Tent, an Indonesian tasting menu focused on communal dining.

    Chef’s Studio is an intimate and futuristic space beneath The Tent – our table of choice for those in the know. - £65pp set menu - 6-12 pax Our guests can experience the Override menu in Chef’s Studio. The current Override [03] is in collaboration with Zen Ong, the creator of Inda and Awan, and the former head of YZY Food.     It was massively overpriced for what it was. The food was good but not exceptional especially considering what it was priced at. The waiter was rude and scoffed at us for getting the cheapest wine on the menu ...which was £50 ...the house red. A small room and 4 people squashed onto a tiny table listening to 2 people playing guitar/ flute - again they were good but it seemed to not all fit together. The lighting was good with the moon lamps but nothing made this special.

    Amazing food experience! I highly recommend it. The chef is a great guy who truly loves his job. I’ll definitely come back again. The cocktails are also delicious and very well prepared.

    The fact that we had to leave after two hours and the way the waiters talked to us made us feel like we had to be very cool to be part of the community.
