The Terrace Bar and Kitchen is located at Shannon Town Centre, Shannon, Co.Clare.

We offer eye catching menus that include dishes such as gluten free fish & chips, striploin steak, vegetarian satay, and a lot more.

The Terrace Bar & Kitchen will open Wednesday - Sunday from 12pm to 9pm for food. We are open later each evening for drinks. Our evening menu will be served until 9pm daily.
We have live music on most Friday’s and Saturday’s. Please check social media for our up to date line up.

Waitress very rude( didn't want to be there) Noise level from speakers on the wall way to loud while trying to enjoy a meal and talk. Try to get the bill was unbelievable had to ask 3 times. Not a nice restaurant/bar for a relaxing evening and food only average

Nice enough food but won’t visit again as this place is really just a sports pub with a few extra tables added. Not a family friendly atmosphere for younger kids. Bathrooms disgusting and not maintained. Long wait time for food with no update or staff checking in on you. Food was fairly decent though but won’t be back.

The terrace has got a lot worse over the last few months. They went from having lovely gluten-free battered fish and chips and poppadoms with the curry to none of the above. Chicken supreme is now the only gluten-free option. Service was very poor. Menu very small for anyone but the food is very good. Price no longer worth it. Parfait is the Best dessert I ever had though, not available on Sundays though 😕

It was a very nice place the food was OK it took for a long to be served and when I was going in there I had a reservation and I met a Polish security guy at the front door and he was very rude and told me not tonight so I told him I'd like to speak to the manager and when he bring the manager I show him my reservation didn't it was no problem but very bad atmosphere would not recommend it again

I had booked a standard table as we had a baby with us also pre said we would need a high chair, when we arrived they wanted us to sit at a high table - impossible with a baby - however, the manager came and sorted the problem pretty quickly. Young girl obviously didn’t realise that the baby would have been looking at our knees, also she would have been out in place where heavy people traffic, carrying hot plates etc

Sunday lunch: Unfortunately the restaurant was cold and as a result my mother left her coat on throughout the meal. The starters were great, the beef and Yorkshire pudding was over cooked. The burger was good and my mother enjoyed the fish. The sticky toffee pudding was tough and over sweet, seemed like it was over heated in the microwave. This was our second visit and unfortunately we won’t be going back.
