    Welcome in 2025 with us. A New Year’s Eve Feast with a sumptuous 3 course dinner and Coates & Seely English Sparkling wine. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of our First Floor Dining Room followed by live music in our Ground Floor Bar to finish the party in style. This experience price will be £60 per person which includes a welcome glass of Coates & Seely, 3 courses plus access to the party afterwards. A discretionary service charge will be added to the final bill on conclusion of the meal. Open until 1am.     To kickstart Series 4 of Cubitt House Eats With, award-winning author, digital creator and low-waste chef Max La Manna joins us for an unforgettable evening at The Thomas Cubitt. Max’s innovative approach to sustainable cooking promises a feast like no other, complete with a three-course menu crafted to inspire. Enjoy a welcome drink courtesy of Respirited Vodka, feast around shared dining tables in the main dining room and leave with a signed copy of Max’s cookbook. Tickets are £75, with an optional wine flight available on the day. A discretionary 15% service charge is applied to the final bill.

    We had a superb Christmas Eve family dinner at the Thomas Cubitt where the service was outstanding and the food delicious. Wonderful friendly attentive staff looked after us all evening. Highly recommend

    Sadly the food was not up to expectation - there was no vegetarian roast, and potatoes could not be made without duck fat which was a shame. They had run out of fries and the veg tasted like it had been warmed in a microwave. The vegetarian option on the menu was okay but not great. Dessert was fair but nothing special. The pub itself was lovely and a nice atmosphere though

    1st visit. Very noisy. Food fairly mediocre. Wine good. Bit disappointed overall.

    We booked this on the strength of the reviews. It wasn't value for money. £253 with 1.5 bottles of wine. The place was so noisy we could barely talk to each other. The noise was added to by a gang of lads singing oggy oggy etc at the top of their voices. Not a great experience. We don't expect church like silence, but this was stupidly noisy. We believed it had dining rooms upstairs which would have been quieter. All in all not great. The staff were good, our waiter went off shift and the service changed. Not a place to return to.

During this time of year, our top floors are almost always reserved for functions, which causes the Ground Floor to become energetic and prevents us from offering quiet tables to our customers.     We booked upstairs which is usually very civilised, but they texted me on the day, having confirmed the day before that we would be upstairs, to say it wasn't;t open and that we would be in the bar. We were very disappointed, as the bar is very noisy and service is terribly slow due to lack of staffing, (possibly why they didn't; open upstairs). It's a good place and if you can eat upstairs very enjoyable, with reasonable good, but avoid the terribly noisy bar at all costs. It's terrible if you have a group of friends and can;t hear each other talking..

    Lovely food, lovely atmosphere etc but let down by awful toilets. It’s not clear which is the gents and which is the ladies, plus when you get in there, they don’t look like they’re checked regularly and there was a broken seat too. So disappointing.
