Sally, Dave and their team at The Throckmorton, Coughton look forward to greeting you.




Following a major refurbishment in Autumn 2014 under the new ownership, Sally and Dave pride themselves on offering fresh, local, homemade food every day from 9am to 9pm.




The various menus include restaurant quality seasonal dishes from the ‘Chef’s Recommendations’ section through to a great selection of fresh fish and tasty steaks.

    The whole experience was very good. Parking - Service and Food just couldn’t be faulted. If you would wish me to be picky then the cost of the small bottles of Prosecco at £10 each ….Excessive don’t you think?

    The food and ambience were good. The service needed a bit more attention to detail. Eg someone to explain menu options on a Sunday. The starter dishes to be taken away before arrival of the main. The server could have explained I couldn't order a single shot weak flat white. I couldnt drink the coffee that arrived as it was too strong. Otherwise we had a nice time and enjoyed the newly refurbished pub.

    The Throckmorton Arms has had a recent makeover and has managed to retain the charm and welcoming ambiance that it had previously. The service and food is still excellent as it has always been for a long time. Highly recommended and well done.

    Absolutely amazing food and brilliant value for money. I would recommend the Sunday roast dinner. Friendly and helpful staff and noting was a problem We will be back
