Rediscover Maine dining. Native ingredients honor Maine’s indelible heritage. By partnering with local fisherman, farmers, distillers, and ranchers, The Tiller Restaurant combines the region’s distinctive culture and tradition with culinary innovation and sustainable practices for authentic and nuanced dining experiences.

Upscale contemporary design meets with charming rustic elements, combined with a bright and inviting dining destination surrounded by ocean views suspended over the cliffs. Seasonal breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus are prepared with farm-fresh local produce, line-caught fish, hand cut meats, and homemade recipes passed down from generation to generation.

During the month of August, the restaurant will have limited availability for non-resort guests.

    This was a celebratory birthday lunch for two. We were promptly seated in our requested preferred location. The window-side views are unparalleled just about anywhere. Both the host and server greeted my wife by name and wished her a happy birthday. Service from Kate was professional and most friendly. Food was quite tasty. If I had to dig for a criticism, my wife's lobster and corn chowder was served at the same time as her lobster role. We did not think we needed to specify chowder first. I think the kitchen should have known better. This is not an everyday dining room, and if you're looking for a value meal, the value is in the extraordinary atmosphere and bold ocean view. This is truly a special occasion venue. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

    Always a spectacular view and environment. Festive this time of year also. Some communication problems with server but overall excellent.

    Good, but out hummus appetizer was terrible. Focaccia bread was old, stale, and cold. Kitchen forgot celery and carrots. Otherwise, was good. Went for late lunch. $$$$ Staff were excellent.

    We were there to celebrate my mom's 85th birthday. The staff, especially Faith, were outstanding. They went above and beyond to treat my mom to an experience she'll never forget. We had a great time, the food was terrific, and we couldn't have asked for better as far as being treated as if we were truly special.

    We had a nice time for a birthday dinner here. The food selection was not so unique with a hom hum salad selection but the service was excellent.
