Here at The Trap, we don’t settle for average, casual, American cuisine. We have created a menu that puts a twist on the traditional pub fare with interesting flavor concepts and pairings. Our unique environment draws you in, but it’s our incredible food that will keep you coming back for more! The Trap locations offer an expansive outdoor deck during the warmer months, outfitted with televisions, and a full bar. Our patio is also pet-friendly! Voted Best of RI “Best Neighborhood Bar", come get TRAPPED and you’ll see why!
The lower level has an expansive Private Events space. With a private bar, two large event rooms and outdoor patio access, The Trap's Event Space is great for any event!

Savor a delicious brunch buffet and scrumptious sips for the adults are available. After the live performances and meet & greet, head downstairs to our private events space where we will have the movie playing, along with a variety of crafts and games! Tickets: $50 Adult | $25 Children 4-12 years | 3 years & under are free A staff member will call you to confirm your reservation and collect your credit card information. In the case of cancellation within 48 hours of the event, the full ticket price will be charged to the card on file.

    We went for the Mothers Day brunch. It was $50 person. Our reservation got bumped back 15 minutes, which was fine but when we arrived we waited for another 15 minutes and I had to ask the hostess twice if our table was ready. And it in fact had been ready but no one sat us. Our waitress never explained where the buffet was (downstairs) I had to ask. She never told us there were complimentary drinks on the bar. I paid for drinks when I didn’t have to. I had a private party there last year and everything was amazing but I don’t think I would come back for another buffet.

    We went to The Mother's Day brunch. The food was delicious and plentiful, but the seating & noise level were terrible. We were 1st seated at a hightop table, right next to the stage, with a guitar player strumming right in our ear. It was very loud. We had a baby with us so we asked if we could move. They moved us to a booth that fit all 6 of us, but it was so hard to get into and there was literally no room between the table and the seat. My husband, being a larger man, couldn't even fit into the booth!! I know they want to get as many people as possible into their restaurant, but they really need to account for larger people in their booths. It was so hard to get in & out of the booth, not one of us went back for seconds and at a charge of $50 per person we really did not get our moneys worth. I would never go again for their brunch. Mothers Day should be a relaxing day and this situation was not relaxing!!

    Lovely Mother’s Day brunch with my boys. Was it worth $50 per person. I’m not 100% sure. I understand with inflation etc. Maybe I would have expected at least one adult beverage included. For example one mimosa included with the price. We all enjoyed the food. I understand we paid for the experience. We like the trap and have enjoyed dinner and drinks there before. And will continue to do so. But I’m just not sure the brunch was worth the cost. I’m honestly not complaining. My husband and I went back that very night for a few drinks and appetizers.

    We enjoyed the Easter Brunch on Sunday. For a first year event, I was very impressed. The layout was attractive, the food choices were solid, and the food was yummy. I did think that the cost of the brunch was a bit high for what was offered, but honestly, what restaurants are not overpriced today? Service was very friendly and the event coordinator came to our table, to actually let solicit our feedback because it was their first year. Ultimately, we would go back again.

    Excellent food and service! We needed a quick bite and and to be in and out to attend a hockey game. It was a great experience.

    Brand new restaurant so hiccups are to be expected, food just wasn’t it. Fried pickles were soggy and the buttermilk fried chicken had no flavor but did have the crisp. Our sodas were both flat like the carbonation was out and no one felt the need to change it because the second soda was not much better. This was our second time here and I can’t say I’ll be back anytime soon. Our server was great.

    Excellent service for brunch, very attentive with drink refills, etc. Great brunch options at an affordable price. Perfect for a girlfriend meet up.

    Fish and chips was undercooked. The batter wasn’t cooked all the way thru. Sent it back once and the second time we received it, it was worse than the first time. The male manager was no help and gave a sarcastic response when asked about it. Food and drinks are over priced

    Awful experience. Brunch took over 30 minutes to get a drink from the bar and over an hour to get our food. The restaurant was less than half full. Food was poorly cooked, and the manager was a jerk. When we tried to explain our experience and that the chef forgot the egg on 2 of the meals, he rolled his eyes and told us to have a good day. The waitress was amazing and the actual space itself was really nice. Hopefully they can get their kitchen and management staff trained over the next few months.
