Our new Lexington Tea Room is a beautifully appointed and welcoming space located just off Massachusetts Ave on the corner of Muzzey and Raymond St. Enjoy teatime with friends in our bright, sun filled tea sanctuary. The larger of our two tearooms, on the weekends the Lexington location is a fun, buzzing space welcoming larger groups and parties. For a more intimate experience we recommend visiting during the week or trying our smaller Belmont location. Our tearoom is also ideal for private events 25+ guests.     The noise was insanely loud. There was a party of probably 20+ women who were so loud and we were packed in and could barely move. The tea was delicious but we were never offered more hot water or able to order another tea. The food was great, nice variety and perfect bite sized fare. Unfortunately ours was served on a broken tiered plate that looked like it was ready to fall over. I think they should have a limit of people they can serve- perhaps only able to serve a table of 8 max? Or remove a few tables when they have such a large party at the least. It was just too loud and felt crammed in. Will try again with hopes that we can hear each other speak! Certainly not a calming “tea” experience.

    I was just a bit disappointed in the attire of the waitresses. They were in jeans. I also thought the cucumber sandwiches were dry. I do feel that it was a great value for the money. The staff was very attentive. The food was good however I have had better. I usually get full size scone theirs were quite small.

    Lovely setting. Menu was great and food was delicious. Problem with noise level as there were very loud children present. This really took away from what should have been a relaxing atmosphere. However plan on returning again and hopefully it will be quieter.

    Very noisy! The Tea Room needs noise cancelling ceiling tiles, a sound absorbing wall between the kitchen and dining room, and a staff who would remind the revelers that other people who do not want to join their party are in the room.

    Our experience was excellent. This was our 2nd Annual Ladies Holiday Tea and I believe we will be back next year in 2025. Service, food and the Lexington location was perfect for our group. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful experience anytime during the year.

    It was a fun thing to do with friends. There is a main menu, but you can change individual items if you want. I'll be going back again in January. They change menus every month

    I LOVE tea and I’m really excited to have these 3 new shops in our area! I visited Lexington and I was a little disappointed overall. First, our server and service were excellent. The tea, though served in a pot, was from teabags, which is ok. The sandwiches were good, but the sweets seemed store bought - I think the cookies were out of a box. And the décor was kind of blah. With a little effort, this place could be amazing! That said, I will go back and likely try the other locations.

    My granddaughter and I enjoyed a leisurely tea with large pots of tea and delicious goodies. We especially enjoyed the pumpkin tart and truffle as the last course! It was easy to find and we would be happy to go there again.

    We had a wonderful experience at Vintage Tea & Cake from beginning to end. Lovely atmosphere, excellent service and food. It was the highlight of our trip back home for Thanksgiving and we will definitely be back!
