Celebrate the start of 2025 with our delicious seven-course tasting menu, including a glass of Taittinger Champagne on arrival. Dishes include Guinness soda bread with whipped beef fat, teriyaki scallops, BBQ beef picanha, and indulgent desserts like blue cheese tart with fig jelly and chocolate and raspberry Turkish delight. Wine pairing available for an additional £50 per person The menu is £95 per person we will take a non refundable £10 per person deposit. Our Annual Christmas Jazz Evening, enjoy live music from 7:30pm from the incredible Rory McNeill and his band. We will be serving our famous wheatsheaf Burgers from 6-8pm. Make sure to book your spot as we expect to be incredibly busy. Please note our normal a la carte menu will not be available on this evening

Had Sunday lunch there a few times & never been disappointed - the quality of food is excellent & the atmosphere is just so relaxed - very enjoyable!

The whole delivery and service are excellent. The staff care and work really hard. The pub was full which is a clearly successful message. Well done.

Having not been to The Wheatsheaf for sometime we were very pleasantly surprised by the transformation.An excellent menu all cooked and presented to a high standard. The staff helped to make our lunch a very enjoyable experience.

Many good points - quiet, ambience, service. The only distraction was the food itself, which was disappointing - an opinion common to us and our guests. This was a shame, so much right, but the main reason for dining out is the food!!

The food is delicious, we can’t wait to go again. It’s one of those menus where there are lots of dishes you can’t wait to try and everything we ate was outstanding. The service was also warm, friendly and attentive. Great place, definitely go!

Food sublime although limited menu and you will need to order sides with main . This is a popular pub setting with top tier restaurant quality food but I was sat next to the bar with people ordering drinks and sitting at bar area all time so very noisy and not a relaxing or particularly pleasant experience . Pick tables as far from bar as possible to enhance enjoyment of delicious food and gain best experience.
