The Yard Bright, is built for FUN! You will feel the buzzing vibe from the moment you step inside. Offering a cheekily curated selection of faves and Australian Botanical cocktails, as well as a great range of South American share plates, tacos and quick bites, The Yard Bright, will ensure that you leave feeling upbeat, relaxed, and satisfied.

With a wine list that focuses on local vineyards The Yard Bright, is the perfect place to spend an evening with family and friends.

Please note that although the Yard is an Outdoor venue and subject to weather conditions, our courtyard is covered, heated, and dog-friendly!

Please note to provide quicker service to our guests, and to be more environmentally conscious, we use a QR code menu & ordering system. Of course our staff are available to answer any questions you may have in regard to the menu.

Please note a 15% surcharge applies on Public Holidays.

Options on a Sunday night were minimal and all orders were done by the app. Ended up with tacos only menu and the pulled pork was dry and tasteless.

Our full menu was available on Sunday - our staff would have been happy to answer questions regarding the menu or assist you further with ordering via our QR code ordering system - we strive to offer a variety of choices for our guests to choose from. Compared to our visit to The Yard a year ago where we found the food to be lovely, service excellent and welcoming, last night’s effort was deeply disappointing. We were dumped at the table by a very brash woman who didn’t offer to give us menus, she just directed us toward the QR code and walked away. QR codes are great if everyone knows the menu and wants to go Dutch, but we were buying the dinner as a treat for our kids and we were just left with a hollow feeling and very nearly walked out. The vegetarian selections have shrunk from being high quality, creative food to just basics of corn riblets (tasty by overcooked), loaded fries, a smattering of avocado on a large bowl of chips where you have to pay $5 for a small amount of cheese and $4 for some chopped tomato and onion (just chopped and thrown, no mingling of flavours as a true pick de gallo should have). And the pumpkin tacos were overcooked overly salted fingers of slightly too dry pumpkin that resembled 5 hour old turds at the dog park. The margaritas tasted like they were made on bottled lemon juice. Basically the great experience we were hoping for was ruined by lazy disengaged service, a moneymaking attitude with complete lack of generosity from management ($5 for a pinch of cheese is just ridiculous) and not great quality food. We were prepared to spend $400 but places that deserve that kind of money try a lot harder. We’ll go somewhere that cares about the diners next time.

We understand the QR code may not be preferred by all, and we apologise if it felt impersonal. Our goal is to streamline ordering and reduce paper waste, but physical menus are available & were provided to your table. We sorry our vegetarian options didn’t meet you’re your expectations. We aim to offer a variety of options to suit different dietary preferences, with half our offering being either vegetarian or easily adaptable. We will review these items for improvement. Regarding margaritas and extras, we value fair pricing and will reassess portions. We do encourage guests to share concerns during their visit so we can address them promptly at the time. Loved taco Thursday. Delicious food, great cocktails and loved the ordering system. Very friendly staff and loved we could bring our dog 🫶🏼

Good place to go if you want a relatively fresh meal. The quality is on par with what you can easily make at home. Tasty but not over the top tasty.

Food and drinks were amazing but they were so busy, the wait time for food was over an hour and a half.

Hi Jessica. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review after dining with us on New Year's Day. It's lovely to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed our food & drinks. Unfortunately there were limited venues open in Bright on the day so saw us have one of our busiest days on record, we were open with our communications with our diners about their being a long wait for food, which did see this pushed out to 1 hour 30 mins in the very peak of service with all tables full & a line of walk in's. We checked in with all our tables & gave complimentary drinks to any tables waiting this long for food. We hope this experience has not dissuaded your group from joining us again in the future. Thanks for a great night! The place was super busy and we were advised of the wait time for food on arrival. No problem for us. Our waitress was amazing! Run off her feet all night and she did a great job! Thank you again.

We sat at the high top table and had dessert and cocktails on the bean bags at the front. Great atmosphere, food and service.
